I don't blame them for wanting to sell the farm for Lamar. That package is way overboard but they have a potentially SB ready team that won't be able to compete because their QB is awful. That FO has done a great job the past few years building that team.
Well Joe Douglas was trained in a couple great locations

Well you would use the draft picks to move up and draft a QB. Then you can pretty much pay anybody you want for 3-4 years.

1. If they traded away all those players and picks, they're not a SB ready team anymore, regardless of whether they had Mahomes or not.
2. They need to start over at QB, and this draft is a good place to do it. Unfortunately, they're winning just enough to make sure they don't have a top 10 pick.

Well I guess from following the draft closely for so many years, I realize that you can’t just guarantee you get a franchise qb with draft currency, unless you trade for a proven one with those picks and in turn eating all your cap anyway.
So yeah this trade could be attractive IF we can guarantee drafting a franchise qb almost immediately, leaving us enough cap space to pay all these guys while our new qb is on a rookie deal.
In other words… I’ll take the qb while I got him lol

Exactly, this one makes no sense because the players they’re talking about are the exact reason they’re a qb away from competing. They are a loaded roster because they’ve amassed all this young talent.

I mean Watson, who has massive baggage, was holding out for a trade prior to the baggae, AND is not as good of a football player was 3 1s a 3rd and 2 4ths. If I were to trade Lamar I would say the offer starts at 4 1s and let the escalation begin (which would probably be 4 1s a couple 2s and some 3s). So while the hypothetical is a crazy haul (basically trading the entire strength of your team and the future for Lamar) it probably is not that much more than he would get if he were to be trade bait.

That package is insane? Insane in an insanely stupid and underwhelming way. I wouldn't trade the second coming of MJ for 3 firsts and a decent CB and DT, ever. Especially when spent and worthless QBs and ones that have sexually molested women and not as good a QB as Lamar get more? The compensation has to be 6-7 first-round picks, 4 second-round picks, 3 third-round picks, Sauce, Quinnen Williams, and a few more studs. Now, this is a package that will make me stop and think for a couple of minutes. Then, I'll ask them to shove it!
you may be able to get a decade of 1s 2s and 3s from the Rams, but you'll have to wait for those picks to begin

Jokes aside, even though what you said is true, Rams are the only team that scares me in trying to pry Lamar away from us. One, they are Hollywood, and have the financial wherewithal to figure out a way to pay Lamar what he seeks and will make LA the city of superstars! LeBron and Lamar. They'll never stop winning because they'll always field a great team one way or another by selling the future to buy the present.
