I just don't understand why Hill was starting over Gus.I find it odd that after every playoff loss we’re asking if our current rb1 was hurt
Lamar and Josh Allen have to do this to win, Burrow does not, it’s why those two are 2 and 3 to meYou know what stood out to me in that video?
Hill missed alot of key blocks. Christ.
I'll say it again. Lamar having to carry this run game while passing effectively is a bit much. He threw for 272 and ran for 54 on 8 carries.
Asking him to run the rock 15 plus times and throw it 30 times is insane to me.
He had a few opportunities I think he could have taken but overall the Chiefs did a great job and stayed disciplined. Nobody can explain to me why Isiah Pacheco had more carries than Gus and Hill combined.
I'll do you one better. Add Lamars 8 carries and Pacheco still had more attempts.

To me, I was wondering why Hill even started the game. Was Gus hurt or something? To your point about "Nobody can explain to me why Isiah Pacheco had more carries than Gus and Hill combined," it's rather simple: coaching malpractice. It's absolutely inexcusable ESPECIALLY with how shit our offense looked in the first half the week prior against the Texans.
If we had played the game to our strengths and still lost by, say, 3 or 7, I could stomach the loss a bit better because the Chiefs would've made one more play than we did. But to lose by going completely away from what got us to this point is just............I don't even know what to say.
If we are going to rely on broken plays then we are always going to look very inconsistent as an offense.
It's crazy to say but I can still see Lamar being even better. The easy stuff. If I could get him to focus on one thing this offseason to take into next it would be to take the easy stuff not feel like he needs to be super man (hell the TD is Zay was him going crazy in the backfield) <--- We can't expect him to do that, carry the ball 11-17 times, and throw the ball well.

i do think that the biggest upgrade we can make outside of better OT play, is finding a consistent and/or explosive non-lamar based running game...
the few weeks with keaton and this offence looked unstoppable - biggest thing we can do is find someone who can challenge the edge contain and beat the LBs to the edge... opens up so much more inside between the tackles if contain is an actual challenge
and yet i would much rather he not pass Vick. I want another balanced year like this. He was perfect. All Lamar really needs is a run game that does not always rely on his legs.
Lamar being out there IS the threat, so the RB's need to take advantage. It's similar to Josh Allen honestly.
Lamar is one more monster year away from passing Mike Vick as the all time rush leader which is insane

Both plays were equally bad and contributed to the loss. You just cannot turn the ball over in games like that and expect to win. But seriously tho, who cares what non-ravens fans think any way? It’s kind of annoying that the Lamar interception and not the zay flowers fumble is being touted as the biggest play that lost us the game from most non Raven fans
TBF Zay was a rookie, Lamar a 6 year vet. And while he could have protected the ball better, the defender made a pretty good play to punch the ball out of Zay's hands. Pretty ironic that it was the guy he taunted that caused the fumble. It’s kind of annoying that the Lamar interception and not the zay flowers fumble is being touted as the biggest play that lost us the game from most non Raven fans
I was more pissed at Zay for the taunt, and as you say Snead made a play to get that ball out.TBF Zay was a rookie, Lamar a 6 year vet. Count me as a 27 year Ravens fan that thinks Lamar's pick was much worse. lol
Marlon made no such plays for us, he barely played. It’s funny how this was such a great injury year for us, we only lost our top 2 RBs and best offensive player and top corner. Oh well. Snead never should have had an opportunity to strip that, either shield with your back or don’t extend the ball at all, such a horrible play that just killed the momentum. The crowd was about to be absolutely unreal insanely loud. I’m so mad at him for that sequence, and to top it off he may be a Joe MixonI was more pissed at Zay for the taunt, and as you say Snead made a play to get that ball out.
As injuries go this was a good injury year for us. I can’t ever remember a season where we didn’t have at Least an few injuries. The difference this year is that we had some depth at critical positions. We made it to the AFCCG and was the favorite to win that one, so it wasn’t that bad.Marlon made no such plays for us, he barely played. I agree for the most part on both fronts but I think the Zay fumble had to have swung the game more than the interception, it was bordering on desperation time at that pointAs injuries go this was a good injury year for us. As for the Zay fumble it just added to the list of bad plays and bad decisions made in that game. No more or no less important to the outcome.
Down 2 scores with a couple minutes left on your own 10, and no timeouts is desperation time. Down 2 scores with 7 minutes left, 2nd down on your opponents 25 is not desperation time. lolI agree for the most part on both fronts but I think the Zay fumble had to have swung the game more than the interception, it was bordering on desperation time at that point
Hopefully he can redeem himself, it’s unfortunate because 9/10 he scores there and he’s having an unreal championship game with 2TDs and however many yards. I still think the refs were bias for calling taunting after everything Kelce got away withDown 2 scores with a couple minutes left on your own 10, and no timeouts is desperation time. You gotta give a rookie a break, or 2.
