The Ugly, The Ugly and The Win I Guess???

Sorry for thinking a professional athlete should hold himself to higher standards than a likely drunk fan. You know, set an example for kids

Right because being drunk in a crowd yelling at Roman is setting an example for kids who are there present.

Drunk fans don't have kids? I know plenty that do.

Me personally, I've never been a fan of the whole "let somebody on the TV be your kids role model" thing. I'd rather see the parents stop paying cowards and actually be the role model themselves, but also understand that's probably too much to ask.

Regardless, it would completely shock you to find out how many drunk fans attend games and are screaming obscenities' in front of young children, including their own. Hence why a large contingent of people stopped taking their young kids to games a long time ago. I expect them to learn it all one day anyway, but I'd rather not spend my free time trying to explain to a 5 year old why calling somebody who just tore their ACL a "fucking pussy" isn't indicative of what a "role model" should be.

STOP IT HE IS ALREADY DEAD

You all miss the fucking point but I wouldn’t expect any less from a lot of you

It’s sports. If he wanna boo the dude for performance, I mean.. that kind of goes with the gig lol. Iunno why people getting so worked up over it. But I’m known here as the anti Harbs/Gro guy. So my opinion might be a little biased
Nah, you are correct.

It's all business for them and after the final whistle they forget about the game. For us fans, it's a passion and we suffer until next game. If they stink at what they do, then we do booing.

Which means they are misusing Lamar Jackson and purposely pigeonholing him to working with these sets that really can't get moving unless he does something with his legs.
I wouldn't say that they are "purposefully" pigeonholing Lamar but utilizing his major strength. Lamar is a QB with an incredible ability to run the football for very positive yards. That's hard to defend. So, you mix him in with the power run game for blockers. That's too easy! But, with the spread, he would have a few more rushing lanes and it could be a lethal combo as well.

Sure. My point was that its not like Cincy universally has a better offense. I like our Oline more. I like their skill position players more.

And based on what I've seen the last two years, I'd rather have Burrow than Lamar. But that's just personal preference.
Sounds like Cinci's offense is universally better.

There are certain seasons where I get so frustrated with the season I plan other things to do on Sunday. Sometimes it is best to walk away if by you watching your team play horribly is a source of torment. Some people say you are not a true fan if you don’t support your team 100% win or lose. I say that is such bullshit. Shit if we can’t make the playoffs, I rather us play some of the young players to see what they got and for some to get game learning experience and if we lose, we get the benefit of the higher draft pick, but that is probably not the best way to look things. Trust me, I am not one of these fans that think I can do a better job than the coaches (except for Cam Cameron, yeah I may have thought I could during some of those games back then….lol!).

Which is funny cause I didn't expect much more from you. Good day sir lol

Were you this critical of Baker when he was running from cops and grabbing his dick for all the kids to see?

How about "Professionals" D-Generation X telling others to "suck it"

I don't need an OC who is going to take a dual threat QB and turn him into a singular threat by sending one receiver on routes sprinkling in 2 TEs and a FB. Defeats the purpose of a dual threat. Cutting the field in half at times with guys who can't get open does not work and is part of the reason the offense looks like the way it does. The mere fact that they all of the sudden ran the spread and quicker plays for the BACKUP NON MVP QB is maddening to me.

Lamar plays well in the spread. Now that we have major injuries in the backfield it would have made sense to utilize all these guys that we have and we did not.

The fact we stopped with the quick throws and slants let me know everything I need to know about Roman and the coaching staff watching all of this nonsense.

No, we got the point. The point just sucks. The point is fans should be allowed to boo and act as stupid as they want, and because Roman gets paid a lot and is a "professional", he should take it.

That's the point. It's just a shitty point. And a really, really lazy one. But I've come to expect that in here too.

Thats a long freakin time!!

it was 7 games in 2020...
he had 5 sacks the year before in 2019
he had 5 sacks the year after (in the NFL) in 2021

he's having a rough year - the no sacks in his final year at penn state is the most meaningless stat - if he had 1, no one would ever have even mentioned it...

Because you guys are freaking dumbasses who don’t understand the difference between professionals and drunk fans. And how famous people are supposed to hold themselves higher than regular joes
Cool. The "supposed to hold themselves higher" part is what's lazy and a dumbass argument.

I always enjoy the hypocrisy of the public though. Outraged by any special treatment "professionals" get that the public doesn't, but also expect more of them because of it. Comical.
