Good thing Burfict is retiredAs long as he doesn't come with AB's brain.
The difference is pretty evident, don't you think? As long as he doesn't come with AB's brain.
Hamilton's great at a lot of things but I'm still a little worried about his lack of speed that showed up early last season. I'm not sure he'll ever be at his best in straight Safety role - I think he'll be better in a specialised Kyle Hamilton role.Hamilton talked about stepping into Chuck's role and outright stated he won't be able to fill in all the things Chuck did right away because he did so much. Kyle's a straight shooter and I hope that if he is moving to Chuck's spot his year 2 learning curve is even better than year 1 at Nickle CB.
I mean maybe. Thing is though... Marcus Williams ain't fast either. The difference in 40 times between the two is like 0.03 seconds.Hamilton's great at a lot of things but I'm still a little worried about his lack of speed that showed up early last season. It looks like the Ravens might be planning to do that by surrounding him with Williams' range and 2 fast ILBs, with another one in the pipeline. They'll probably be able to keep him close to the line of scrimmage most of the time.
Really? That surprises me because Williams seems to play pretty fast.I mean maybe. Thing is though... Marcus Williams ain't fast either. The difference in 40 times between the two is like 0.03 seconds.
It was just a joke. Though on a serious note it's good to remember that AB himself started off pretty quiet with no drama for awhile other than occasionally being a slight diva. At times it's a crapshoot on whether or not a player turns out kinda crazy or has skeletons in their closet. The difference is pretty evident, don't you think?
Hamilton's forty is just about the same as Ed Reed's (5.59 vs 5.57).Hamilton's great at a lot of things but I'm still a little worried about his lack of speed that showed up early last season. Reed ran a 4.5 i thought? Didnt hamilton run a 4.7? On the field, you would think reed ran a 4.3-4.4, hamilton actually looks slow. People will say otherwise but dude doesnt look fast at allHamilton's forty is just about the same as Ed Reed's (5.59 vs 5.57).

you truly can't go by 40 time. Also in his first few games he was just getting everything under his belt and if you remember that game vs the Dolphins there were all rookies on the field at that time. That being said Hamilton's length makes up for a lot and that and it's also why he was so good last year.Hamilton's great at a lot of things but I'm still a little worried about his lack of speed that showed up early last season. His learning curve in year 1 wasn’t even at nickel, he was a natural there, the learning curve was playing a mid-high safety roleHamilton talked about stepping into Chuck's role and outright stated he won't be able to fill in all the things Chuck did right away because he did so much. He said he played Nickel less than 20% of the time at ND on the loungeHis learning curve in year 1 wasn’t even at nickel, he was a natural there, the learning curve was playing a mid-high safety role
Yeah but when he moved to full time nickel he was downright dominant as a rookie. He said he played Nickel less than 20% of the time at ND on the lounge
I don’t think it was a lack of speed tbh, I think it was just a series of poor reads and reactions. It looked more like he just played the routes really badly and speed never would’ve mattered to begin with. In short, it looked like rookie mistakes, major “oh shit” moments, like welcome to the nfl rookie moments.Hamilton's great at a lot of things but I'm still a little worried about his lack of speed that showed up early last season. He was a deep half safety and attacked downhill on vertical routes. Looked to me like he tried to do what he did in college and paid for it, and clearly he learned from thatYeah was coverage busts not lack of play speed
