The Lamar, The Defence and a case of the Dropsies

2-1 in division already. Almost every year SB winner takes a bad loss. I hate this shit but people are overreacting to an extent.
It’s a week to week league for sure, but that’s two bad losses and really minimal signs of life from the offense over 5 weeks

Can't believe the number of people pinning this on the coaching today. They certainly had their issues (some that I've already detailed) but this was a pure execution game. Game would have probably been over in the first half if even 50% of the plays that were that to be made were actually made.
Not a single complaint there. Linderbaum made a bad decision and we absolutely imploded from there on offense and special teams. Coaches didn’t do anything wrong.

It's an option. Just saying with 25 seconds left and a time out, if they jump, you can run at least two plays to take a shot at the end zone. Not a guarantee you kick the FG there. At least not right away.

I don't fault the decision. I fault the execution.
The execution was shit the whole game, no doubt.

It’s that goddamn renegade

Their crowd sounded kinda dead in the first half when we were dominating, but we obviously didn't do shit with our opportunities to blow the game open. After that, their crowd showed up at the end of the game and you could tell their defense was feeding off it

Yea the playoffs are looking like less of lock with each passing week. 3 division games left + Lions, Dolphins, 49ers, Chargers, Rams, Jags… brutal.

I honestly don’t know if we’re a good team or not.

Week 1: Beat a rookie QB playing his first NFL game.

Week 2: Win a close one against a struggling bengals team.

Week 3: Lost to a backup QB in Minshew.

Week 3: Beat a backup rookie QB 5th rounder.

Week 4: Lost to an injured Pickett.

We above .500, but it feels like a lot of empty calories

Doesn’t help how injured these guys have been. No continuity

We not winning no SB.. i do 100% agree with you though.
I honestly thought with this roster we were going to be highly competitive for 1 or 2 seed. But i think it’s pretty clear we’re not ready. There’s shooting yourself in the foot and then there’s shooting your dick off while still shooting your self in the foot. The two losses felt like the latter , much more than just bad losses.

I mean we are tied for 3rd place all things considered. I wouldn’t overreact yet to it. Its only game 5

We do have a nice roster but its something missing. Idk if its cb, pass rusher or maybe even just the team in general

Only we could ruin a Rashod Bateman tier prospect. Thank God we have Zay because previously it was Bate, Hollywood, and Perriman sprinkled with our favorite supporting cast of Miles Boykin, Devin Duvernay, and James Proche. Jesus christ

Despite the drops and him falling on his ass, Zay still looks like the real deal. Never really had a guy that could get open like he can consistently. Hollywood had some moments but Zay is different. Hopefully just a bad day at the office. I believe it is.
