The Lamar, The Defence and a case of the Dropsies

I honestly thought with this roster we were going to be highly competitive for 1 or 2 seed. But i think it’s pretty clear we’re not ready. There’s shooting yourself in the foot and then there’s shooting your dick off while still shooting your self in the foot. The two losses felt like the latter , much more than just bad losses.
The Ravens don't seem to know how to take advantage of their opportunities to be great.

Dot after dot. Super clean footwork and overall mechanics. Such a shame it was spoiled.
Yep instead we get the Lamar can’t throw and choked and isn’t living up to his contract narrative, from inside our fanbase too. I think it was @Dom McRaven who forecasted the post game loss thread in the mid 4th quarter, it really is predictable and sad. God damn these receivers, look what they’ve done to us

Media is all about the clicks and ratings nowadays, and all of these reposts of their terrible takes is giving them exactly what they want. Bunch of sellouts nowadays, because there's no way they believe even half of the shit they're spewing. It's sad but piling on Lamar gets these individuals and networks what they want.

I mean... I have always been quite a pessimist about Lamar, and I don't love Huntley, to admit. I don't want to Lamar to get hurt, I don't want any player to get hurt, but I think we should see what Huntley can do. Really I did like some of the stuff he showed last year
Yea that fumble against the Bengals was my personal favorite

I don't disagree with you, but how to you correct the mistakes with players if you don't fine when they are persistent? I'm at a loss for how to hold them accountable too. A pat on the back and "go gettum next time, pal; play like a Raven," isn't working. These are mental errors in VOLUME that you just don't see on other teams. Sure teams lose, but the way we lose seems unique to us. A single stall on OFF or a missed opportunity throws the whole thing into disarray. It's shocking that it happens to the frequency that it does and predictable because of it... we ALL knew what the outcome was going to be, a mishandled, opportunities lost, loss.

This was worse than the Colts loss. Not because it was the Steelers, but because they just looked lost. Maybe the whole organization needs a whole cumbayah moment with carnival activities and dunking booths to build team trust and camaraderie. ;) Bullshit! They need to earn their pay. They're an embarrassment right now.
Well, couple things:
a) I would imagine the CBA doesn't allow them to be fined for poor performance. I can't say it doesn't happen, but I've never really heard of that being a thing.
b) Theoretically, if it happens frequently, you bench them or reduce playing time. Like if Bateman is perpetually dropping easy passes, then you bench him for somebody who doesn't.

Overarching issue with yesterday and other days is that it isn't the same people making recurring mistakes. Same mistakes, different people making them. Which is partially why people blame coaching.

I do think the fumbling, especially with RBs, won't be tolerated too much longer. I think if you say another back fumble, they'll get benched for at least the rest of that game.

Whatever. Lamar just signed a huge contract. He's not getting benched for anything other than an injury. It just flat out ain't happening. There's no point in discussing it.

I’m also impressed there’s still anyone that can say “I’d like to see what Huntley can do”. We’ve seen far too much of it, lot of data to show we score multiple possessions less of points

Bruh it was damn near clockwork, it was absolutely disgusting. Lamar was having his best game against them, but no assistance.

Yeah I don't think people actually believe that. Huntley is exponentially closer to being out of the league entirely and bagging groceries than he is to overtaking Lamar based on talent/production.

Tyler Huntley received his bachelors degree in sociology and the best we can think of is that he's closer to bagging groceries ?
