My thoughts
1. No way I’m putting Flacco in over LJ like some people are arguing based on the SB.
2. Suggs deserves it more than LJ. Incredibly impactful for the organization and did it for 16 years. LJ will be there one day, but it’s Suggs for now IMO

I can see Tuck. I think he is so good that I’ve just taken it for granted and not thought of him on Rushmore. When he hits these huge kicks it’s just expected. How quickly I’ve forgotten the Cundiff and Hauschka daysI feel in reality its suppose to be tucker but since he is a kicker i guess its hard to put him there so yea for now, it has to be suggs.
Ravens Mt. Rushmore needs to be more than 4 heads on the mantle.Lewis, Reed, Suggs, Ogden.
Lamar is going to pass one of these dudes with or without a ring....I just don't know who
But......Its Mt Rushmore......Its 4 heads........Ravens Mt. Rushmore needs to be more than 4 heads on the mantle.

Solid list and argument. I'll add that Jackson has caused a paradigm shift in the view of what is possible with quarterbacks. There have been mobile quarterbacks in the past, but he's a complete weapon. I think in 20 years that will be the norm with statues being exceedingly rare/obsolete. The roots of that shift will be traceable back to him.imo… it’s Lewis, Reed, Tucker, Lamar.
Lewis, Reed, and Tucker are the GOAT at their position. You can’t say that about Suggs. Ogden, you can make a case, but I would still put Lamar over him. Strictly from a selfish standpoint, Lamar made Ravens offense enjoyable to watch. After watching ravens football for over a decade, the up and down rollercoaster of our offense to where it seems our philosophy was pretty much “offense, just don’t screw it up” … Lamar came into my life and made me belee there’s so much more this game has to offer.
Oh.. and plus he’s a mother father 2x MVP!
Come on now. Lamar is great but let’s pump the breaks and not let recency bias let us forget guys like Steven Young, Randal Cunningham, Mike Vick, McNabb, McNair, younger Russel Wilson etc…. all existed.Solid list and argument. and before that Fran Tarkenton and even "the Snake"Come on now. Lamar is great but let’s pump the breaks and not let recency bias let us forget guys like Steven Young, Randal Cunningham, Mike Vick, McNabb, McNair, younger Russel Wilson etc…. all existed.
I don’t think anyone is letting recency bias take place. A lot of those guys, I would say Young, McNabb, and McNair I wouldn’t put as a dual threat. I would call them more of a “mobile QB” closer to what Rodgers, Wentz, and Mahomes are. You can extend drives, but never really had a 100 carry season.Come on now. Gotta admit.. youre correct with this one. Perfect example would be justin fields and his recent mvp hype. The only reason why he even got mvp hype was because they thought he was gonna be like lamar when he was clearly not even a good qb. without a doubt its been a shift in the lg since lamar even if people wont admit it or dnt realize it yet. Cam and josh allen were seen as versions of big ben imo. I dnt really remember people being concerned with their arm talent as they were with lamar.I don’t think anyone is letting recency bias take place. Where as since guys like Lamar, Josh, and Cam have entered the league and had huge success, it has paved way for other dual threat QBs to be taken, where before a lot more of those guys were forced to change positions in high school, college, and NFL.
Since Lamar and Josh, how many dual threat type QBs have we seen go early in the draft? Hurts, Kyler, Fields, and Daniels come to top of mind.
Mobile QBs walked so dual threats could run in this league, but there has been a shift in the league since 2018.

That will be difficult . Lets just say Lamar is now 5th. A Super Bowl win get him to surpass Ogden or Suggs. I would flip Ogden to 3rd and Suggs 4th. Lamar still has alot of football to play though . Could end up no 1Lewis, Reed, Suggs, Ogden.
Lamar is going to pass one of these dudes with or without a ring....I just don't know who
Sizz, for sure. Love him, but he’s not in contention for greatest of all time at position like the other 3Lewis, Reed, Suggs, Ogden.

HAHa! Wtf your new photo , lol kuddos to you sirBeing the greatest player isn’t necessarily the deciding factor for me, Suggs was the face of our franchise for a hot minute, flacco was playing poorly and sizzle was the vocal leader and best player on the roster in the period where we went from ray and Ed and Joe into the Lamar era. When Joe failed to take those reins sizzle held it down all those years.
To me it’s ray, Ed, sizzle, Joe. Those guys have defined the ravens franchise thus far more than anyone. At this trajectory it could be Lamar and Tucker taking Suggs and joes spot in a decade, but it would take a ring for them to do that, and I know Tucker has a ring but if he helps us get another and does so with Lamar then I think you gotta bypass the 2012 SB OGs
