Harbaugh rode the coattails of Ray, Ed, Sizz, Ngata, Flacco (during his insane playoff runs), etc., and is now riding Lamar’s coattails. I maintain the opinion that you could have put any semi-competent head coach out there with that 2012 squad and they would have won the Super Bowl. It was straight up destiny. I pray that we don’t waste the rest of Lamar’s career with him being “coached” by Harbaugh.
I'm going to have to disagree with you on this. Harbaugh doesn't get enough credit for his leadership ability and that quality to push his players. He's had tremendous success under a couple different types of QBs and he was the one that recognized the need for change. Have we won a SB under Lamar. No, but have had a lot of success with Lamar and I stilll believe we will win the ultimate prize with him.
I am a big fan of Harbaugh, but I believe a lot of that comes from my days as a Redskins fan and going through coach after coach without leadership ability to push to the max. Just because you get that hot offensive or defensive mind doesn't mean you will win the super bowl and in more instances than not, they don't succeed in the ultimate prize. It's the leadership ability that pushes a team over the top. That and a great front office, which we have.
I’m usually not a big fire everyone guy, and I don’t think it’s an overreaction to today either. I think Harbaugh is a really good coach, and I also expect we’ll turn it around this season and be contenders.
With that being said, I feel like it’s basically put up or shut up time. It’s now been 12 years since our last Super Bowl and we’ve had a number of really talented teams that could have (and in 2 cases, should have) won it. At some point, I think there needs to be some accountability for the same mistakes over and over again.
I respect all Harbaugh has done but I wonder if it’s time for a new message and new voice.

If the Ravens choose to fire Harbaugh, there are exciting offensive names in Slowick and Johnson. That'd be the direction I'd personally start looking first and foremost.
And you'd have to think we'd be a very attractive destination with Lamar
