Free Agency 2019

and nick boyle's deal starts to look even even better:

The #Bills have agreed to terms with TE Tyler Kroft on a 3-year deal worth $18.75M ($6.25M per year), source said. It can be worth $21M.

He's never played a full season. In 2013 he played 13, 2015 he played 11 and the last three years he has started 9 games TOTAL. Lets see him do it in Jacksonville.

The total deal is fair, but the guaranteed money is ridiculous

I'd have to see the details, but my guess is, it's more of a 2 year deal making it easy to part ways year 3. Remember what you all said about SB MVP qbs right... you have to pay for stability or some shit.

According to Jason La Canfora, Suggs told the team he is moving on to another club. Take it with a grain of salt, but interesting

Suggs is moving on to another team.... jeez if Suggs isn't staying how much money does he want?

pinch of salt - report is from *** but it does worry me that we've heard nothing else so far and arizona has definitely had a lot of interest apparently

Gonna wait for something from Rapoport or Schefter before I take it seriously

Been expecting this since mid season. Not shocked and we shouldn't pay him if his price doesn't match ours.

It's changing of the guard time and the second Lamar was picked I kind of expected a heavy roster turnover. We need more youth and speed on the field. Too often our pass rush vanishes if we're not blitzing. Run defense is great, but if you can't generate pressure on 3rd and long you're useless.

if this really is true about sizzle then it looks like we've lost our 3 defensive leaders in the space of about a week

If Suggs is gone, then up the offer to Mosley to see if he'll stay but not too much of an increase.

You would think that Eric would have known before us that Suggs is not returning. He should have by now made any necessary revisions to CJ's offer that he probably would've accepted.

interesting point from garafolo on free agency live: bell and tevin coleman are rep'ed by the same agent so its not going to be necessarily as easy as some teams think to sign coleman as a cheaper backup - kinda has the ability to hike the market up for both guys

I can't imagine Suggs was asking for a lot of money, I know he probably wants one last pay day before he retires but will he have the same success outside of Baltimore or will he fall to the same fate of many other defenders who took the money, never did nothing with their new team and was cut within a couple years?

Everyone keeps saying how we're losing these vets. SO? Didn't Wink just say the defense was tailored to the guys we have? Didn't he also say it was simplified? Why can't the new guys who have a year or more in it make the adjustments? I think people are making too much of the play calling duties. It was one game where someone was quickly inserted. I can guarantee had we gone in knowing CJ was out, we would have performed better. We can't keep screaming for the young guys to play then begging to re-sign the AGING vets.
