Is anybody surprised? They have even stopped having the Coronavirus briefings and forbid anybody from talking about the over 100K dead Americans. It is a really dark age in American history right now.

First you guys bitch about the coronavirus briefings saying they're "Trump rallies" Now you're upset. The left is the most wishy washy people I've ever. And nobody is forbid about talking about covid deaths. Wtf are you talking about?

I stand corrected on the "he's still employed" part, but my point still stands on the rest. The fact that he reportedly had a number of conduct complaints over the years is a bit troublesome to me.

Yeah. He should have been relegated to desk duties. The FBI Minn division is involved in this and they just had a press conference. This mf will be locked away for the rest of his life.

How is anybody protecting these bad apples. By making sure mob rule doesnt run rampant?

yeah it's not just this one incident though - it's about police closing ranks whenever an officer does something bad or is accused of doing something bad

this incident was just the most recent tipping point that crystallised more clearly because the actual moment of murder was caught on camera - he didnt die in a cell later or anything - you see him dying there on the street

but that's indicative of a great problem

the system protects them

They ARE fucking Trump's rallies paid by your tax dollar (though I'm sure you don't mind). He is "briefing" on everything else but the damn virus.

You clearly come from a spectrum of thinking that I'm unfamiliar with. What is the point in an argument or a debate? If I know one thing, the vitriol and anger you displayed in your response comes from a point of view that is baked in so deep that an argument or two of the most obvious facts isn't going to change anything. It'll only lead to more aggravation. Since this is a Ravens fan forum and you're a fan brother despite your political leanings, I'm just going to stop.

I can't wait for trouser stain to wake up and see this

I don't usually post much in this thread because I have found that politics just brings me down and life is too short. Most people already have their minds made up and many times instead of people just agreeing to disagree they just dig in their heels and rachet things up and often times it just gets personal and ugly.

I will say this. Watching that Minneapolis video made me sick to my stomach. Watching that officer keep a knee on that arrestee's neck for over 7 minutes made me extremely angry. IMO officers involved need to be charged.

I don't know if the white officer is a racist or not, as I don't know what is in his heart. I do know that anyone who torture's someone who is handcuffed and just laying on the ground by putting your knee on their neck for over seven minutes is an asshole. This sets law enforcement back. The job is dangerous enough in itself, especially in a big cities where there is a lot of violent crime.

People ask me all the time why did you want to be a police in Baltimore City and ask me if I tried to get in anywhere else. I don't have a good answer to that question and I don't know why I didn't apply elsewhere or lateral out. I do know that I could not recommend anyone taking the job in good faith. It is too damn dangerous and for the most part it is a frustrating and thankless job and over time is wears you the fuck out and is very unhealthy mentally and physically. You better be a strong person and any potential spouse needs to understand that being married to a police officer can be very difficult. Being an officer in a violent city is not worth the money, so you better not join for that reason and better understand that some people that don't know anything about you are going to hate and/or judge you simply because you do that job. Go to any YouTube video of a police officer and pick anyone you like and then read the comments.

I can understand people wanting change, I can understand frustration, and I can understand protest. With that said, I just don't agree or like rioting, burning, and committing violence against innocent victims. IMO, I think that for the most part it just ends up hurting your cause and can often make things worse in the long run.

I agree. I'm not into politics as it's simply manipulating gamesmanship and illusionary aspects of change under the guise of controlling narratives to the same benefactors.

I just had to throw my few C over the last week or so because I see this never ending pattern/cycle and I'm not throwing a spanner in the works of certain mindsets out of anything other than experience and dedicating my life to the truth.

These events like in minnesota will change nothing because they are events that actually help the establishment. Subconscious symptomatic reactions.

There is nothing new or revolutionary in this event in both what happened and the current response

all played like a fiddle. The real issue is a war on consciousness and freedom from divide and conquer strategies.

Racism, much like war and poverty is useful for governments existence.
