I like it a lot. 4 is the best looking digit in the ravens font imo and not enough players wear 40s numbers(LBs shouldn’t though), plus he’s honoring his dad, which is awesome

I was quietly waiting for him to announce 33 but I love the look of this one.

Quieting some of the speculation that swirled this off-season that this could be his final NFL season, seven-time Pro Bowl guard Marshal Yanda and the Ravens reached agreement on a one-year contract extension that ties him to Baltimore through the 2020 season, per Schefter

Yanda said last month at an Ed Block Courage Award event that he was loving not having to rehab an injury and feeling healthy. He had started running/lifting. He was rehabbing both a leg and shoulder injury at this time last year and wasn't doing either.

Actually quite surprised he ended up getting signed this early. Not convinced this will be much more than the minimum, but could be enough to cancel out Bethel and return our 4th round comp pick. No guarantees until we see the numbers, but a positive development at least.

im really surprised brent urban hasnt signed anywhere...
The DL market in general didn't really develop. Still lots of quality players out there. Guessing teams are just willing to wait to see how the draft unfolds at this point.
makes a lot of sense tbf - just surprised because by all accounts he had a good season

So Montgomery was just signed by the Jets. Anyone know how this affects our comp situation. He probably cancels out Justin Bethel right?
It'll depend on the amount. If he gets the minimum salary benefit, he won't count in the formula at all. I would think there's a real chance that's what he got.
