And last thought for now... it's easy to blame Orr for some of the secondary issues, but gotta give him credit for how that front line worked today. Them edge boys in particular we're doing great at getting pressure AND preventing Daniels from rolling out. They played with insane discipline today even if the sack numbers don't show it.

I do think his all out blitz on the 4th down that drew PI on Wiggins was not a great choice…

ironically, by blitzing everyone, he gave the rookie the easiest possible decision...

seems like a bad choice in that spot - my concern with orr is not the defensive scheme but more that he seems to have more wink in him than MM in terms of personality with his playcalling

It feels weird to say it again this year, but it seems we again have the best version of Lamar we've ever seen, notably as a passer. Continually showing that he's getting better and better year after year. If he can ever dial in some of the bombs, good luck rest of the NFL.

think it looked worse because commanders ran a bunch of no-huddle and kept guys like urban and robinson in there on passing downs which was not ideal

i think he's just happier with his answers vs the blitz - it definitely helps that he's got 2 WRs that can win straight off the release and also 2 TEs who are big targets who he can trust to make catches in traffic too

and also a RB he can trust both in pass pro and as a receiver - justice hill is such an unsung part of this offence

And he doesn't hesitate as often when it comes to making the decision to use his legs to get the first down. He definitely looks faster than last year. As long as the OL continues to gel, this should be the expectation going forward.

The Cleveland one was right before the half and they did not show a replay, but I used good old rewind and confirmed that he did indeed block a FG.

The flow of this offense is pure frickin poetry. It's just great football when Lamar and Henry are playing off each other and then you have a full toolkit of complimentary weapons playing their roles perfectly.
