Great trade- you got quite a haul to move back three spots.
Appreciate that. Though I wonder if my view changes after this season. I've either had the chance to or wanted to trade up for multiple successful QBs in the last few years. If Murray does the same, it might not be worth the few thirds, at least if I don't knock them out of the park.

As a yearly announcement:
Please try to discuss trades prior to you being on the clock when possible. The time limit is meant for people in different time zones, not to take the whole time to hope for/discuss deals. Of course, taking the time to finalize some details or make a final decision is completely fine.
Don't bank on a player being there and then be surprised when he isn't. It happens all the time. Be prepared for every possibility.

While I agree with the spirit of your post, there is no rule that prohibits someone from discussing a trade while on the clock. If I'm on the clock and someone offers me a trade, I will consider it. If someone gets back to me about a trade that I offered before I was on the clock, I will consider it. Also, if someone posts about a trade they are interested in, I will consider it. That being said, we certainly don't need everyone on here each taking a very long time to make each pick. Then again, everyone needs to just be a little bit patient.
I think that we should always take time into account and be courteous towards everyone else in making sure that our stints are as reasonably concise as they can be. That being said, I'm also personally receptive to the factors at play. For example, some trade discussions don't happen until a person is OTC; not due to the tardiness to act of the holder of the draft selection, but because there is inherently more interest in a pick once the availability of the prospects is fully cemented. I've been there too many times. Even the trade that I made earlier today happened when it did in large part due to the fact that I knew the first two picks and had an idea of the third. Even then, there was a sense of uncertainty about getting it done until Murray was there for sure. And that trade has been in works for days. There's also the fact that this is all happen throughout workdays, which makes it harder to make the pockets of time to account for every possibility. I am with the idea of planning ahead, passing off boards, etc. But I also don't want member to feel rushed and make selections they'd rather think a little deeper about solely to reduce the waiting time.
It's more of a general statement. As Truth mentioned, it's more of a common courtesy than a rule. Things happen and sometimes people spend a couple of hours on the clock discussing things that don't work out. That's fine. The PSA is more directed at people that realize they're on the clock, then say they're fielding trade offers, and then push it to the 11th hour before doing something. That's not what the time limit was enacted for.
What JO is doing is fine. Just gave the opportunity to make my PSA.
Hopefully that clears it up.

it's more than just 3 spots. It's who his trading partner was trading up for...
I tried that with two of my firsts, but @purplepittabread88 wasn't budging. He had his eyes set on bosa from the start. Especially since he traded Chandler Jones.
