It would but i would be surprised to see Jordan Richards not make the team.e

Jeff has mentioned in numerous tweets, both directly and indirectly, that he has Richards off at this point. Sounds like he could have some info but isn't explicitly saying it until it's confirmed.

I do think he could be cut today but back tomorrow if there's someone heading to IR.

that's definitely a possibility - richards is definitely the kind of vested vet for whom that kind of move could work

Richards, Levine, Ellis, Ward, Moore all guys on the minimum where that could make sense. Definite handshake agreement situation, but a little easier since apparently you don't have to wait until Tuesday anymore. They can go on IR tomorrow. So I wouldn't be shocked to any of those guys cut, but I wouldn't expect that means they're gone for good. Richards probably the one the most questionable there.

might be that a 3rd TE is the same sort of deal - we might not even care that much which one of the guys we cut is still available - but i could see us having 2 TEs tonight but 3 by the time all the other pre-week 1 moves are sorted

doesnt sound like we're gonna need many I/R roster spots though - zrebiec doesnt think Madubuike will be going on I/R (thinks he's expected back before the chiefs game at some point but obviously knee strains are unpredictable - but the unpredictability might mean we just keep him on the 53 while he recovers)

skura would be the main I/R question for me

Exactly. Final 53 tonight certainly won't be the final 53 by game day. We don't have too many guys in that IR situation - Skura, Moore, maybe Hill so I wouldn't expect anything too crazy, but you could certainly see some surprises today with the intent to bring them back.

I do think it's funny how we're seeing that every guy cut so far has the "practice squad candidate" designation. Of course they're a candidate. The PS is expanded, the TC roster was 80. If you made it to today, you are absolutely a candidate. Minus the P and LS of course. Exclude them and there are 21 guys for 16 spots.

Looks like the UDFA streak is extremely questionable at this point. Based on what others are saying, Kristian Welch is probably the only candidate left.

either that or eli wolf - but eli wolf has spent so much time injured that that seems unlikely

the best looking UDFAs this camp were
Huntley
Warrior
Nurse (injured)
Wolf (injured)
Welch
Colon-Castillo

only welch and Nurse havent been cut yet

Yep we're down to the dark horse candidates. Nurse might have factored if injuries weren't a thing, so he should be safe on the PS.

Welch is the interesting one. Lots of notes about how they like him on ST and we know how much the Ravens love to keep ILBs that play ST.
