There were (I think) 3 instances where if Ben held on the ball for like a second longer, it would've been a sack.

On another note, @UPennChem , I think you were on to something when you had the dream of a defensive player hitting the ref. LMAOO!

I feel you. I learned after last year it doesnt matter fuck all what you've done in the regular season. All that matters is winning when it counts.

No loss will compare to that Titans game for me. That was utterly disappointing.
Yeah I think its just all based on matchups.

I don't think anybody really thinks the Steelers are better than us. I'd have no issue playing them again, even on the road, especially when crowds in the playoffs are going to be small or non-existent.

Based on what I've seen this year, I'm not super concerned about a road game in Buffalo or Tennessee either. The only team I've seen so far that we don't match up well enough to win with is KC at this point.

I stand by what I've been saying all year about the Steelers. If you play mistake-free football against them, you're in a good shape. They don't have the kind of offense that is going to sustain long drives, score a bunch of points with personnel and talent. They force turnovers. Its a skill to do that, but if you're disciplined and talented enough to avoid it, they're in trouble in most games.

Even the NFC is filled with good, but flawed teams. SEA, ARI, and maybe TB are really the only ones that "scare" me right now but they're all very beatable as well.

I mean... its really just "do we play a team with an average to below average defense".

Like Tennessee's defense is actually quite bad at this point. And Buffalo has regressed significantly, especially against the run.

Indy game next week is probably one of the last true "barometer" games against a solid defense, save the Pittsburgh rematch. The only good thing about playing the Colts is I think we match up extremely well against their offense (immobile QB, not a lot of playmakers outside, good against the run, etc.).

We get beat badly by like Indy or Tennessee, I'll be the first to throw out the red flags. I'm just not seeing it. Its a week to week league, but I'm not convinced you have to play really well to beat these teams. We turned it over 3 times today against an undefeated team and were as close as anybody to beating them.

Agreed. We aren't a bad team by any means. We aren't the juggernaut that everyone was afraid to face last year but it's not like we're toiling away into mediocrity either. KC is really the only team that is in the upper echelon right now (maybe Seattle once they get healthy again) and even they got taken down by the Raiders. This is still a supremely talented team and the fact that we've won 5 games despite these consistent issues should show that. It could be a whole lot worse.

I put literally no stock in player tweets. In fact, I almost never read them, especially minutes or hours after a game.

I don't really care if he's frustrated or not.

I mean... i can't say the "bouncing back" concept was a problem today. We largely rallied from those turnovers.
We scored a TD immediately after Lamar's early pick six
Defense held after his fumble and we had a long TD drive two drives later
He mounted a strong drive to end the game after being stopped on 4th down prior to that.

Today I don't think it was being able to bounce back from adversity. I think it was the adversity itself. You just can't turn the ball over 4 times against a 6-0 divisional rival and expect to win. Can work against the Jets or worse teams, but not this team. The fumble inside the 10 yard line cost us at least 3 points. Second INT puts them in FG range and they get a TD.

At a minimum, his poor decision making cost the team a net of at least 12 points. One resulted in a PIT TD, one would have resulted in at least a PIT FG (actually became a TD) and the other cost the Ravens at least a FG.

You can't give wrap a net of 12 points to an undefeated opponent.

I agree with everything you have said here but I also feel that the adversity and ability or inability to bounce back from adversity kind of go hand in hand. The Ravens were up 17-7 at the half. So, they seemed to overcome the early adversity of throwing a pick 6, Judon's ejection and Stanley's injury etc. But then after the half, as you mentioned they started "gift wrapping" the game to the steelers with turnovers and senseless defensive penalties that caused the momentum to swing and by that time the Ravens were playing from behind.

Steelers had lamar confused. Worst decisions ive ever seen him make by far was today. The missed throws from him are normal at this point. Also, the whole season hollywood has been lowkey complaining in his comments on instagram..he has been saying things like “ im always open” or “ im open 24/7” to trolls in his comments

After the game, Hollywood seem to voice his frustrations with the offense when he tweeted:

"What's the point of having souljas when you never use them (Never!!)"

^He has since then deleted that tweet.

If he has only 2 targets in a FULL GAME, something is wrong.
I feel like the endzone non-catch should count. That would have been three whole targets...

But yeah, Hollywood has good reason to be frustrated. Sometimes I wonder what players really think and he gave us a taste.

Another unheralded guy that has really put together a solid season amongst a unit that has been overall shit, Bozeman continues to be dominant when pulling. So many of his blocks are sealing those holes in the run game. He's not the biggest or strongest guy but he's pretty technically sound. One highlight on what I expect to be a pretty poor OL going forward. He's turning into a really solid option for us in the middle.

You're late to the party, Mili. But of course...Mili doesn't care about none of that. Mili thinks the world revolves around him. And then Mili's gonna be like, "See, what does this have to do with my post about Hollywood voicing his frustrations. That's the problem with you young cats."

Mili is not late to the party per se cause he follows Hollywood on twitter and saw the post when he first dropped it but chose to post it later on in here. Mili doesn't think the world revolves around him but he does dance to the beat of his own drum that is for sure. But Mili is definitely thinking: "What in the hell does Dom's quoting my post and then adding all of this foolishness to it with his post have to do with my original post about Hollywood voicing his frustrations?"

I don’t have a problem with Hollywood’s tweet at all. Coaches (Roman) need to be held accountable as much as the players

the routes he was asked to run are going to be interesting to see - there's no way they couldn't manufacture a touch for him to get him the ball at some point

For sure. And that might be what's frustrating for him. The Ravens have manufactured touches for Duvernay recently. They have plays clearly designed for Boykin (otherwise he'd never get targeted lol). Where are those for Brown?

Well, I saw one of those. I have a screencap from late (Q3, 04:56) where they ran the play where Brown goes in orbit motion and they have an RPO option of handoff to back or toss to Brown. Brown is pretty open there. Not sure why Lamar handed it off. Dobbins gained 4, but Brown would have been in space against a S with Boykin blocking a CB and LB Williams trailing. Give the man a chance to make a play!

I feel like the endzone non-catch should count. That would have been three whole targets...

But yeah, Hollywood has good reason to be frustrated. Sometimes I wonder what players really think and he gave us a taste.

The endzone non-catch does count as a target. Brown's targets came on back-to-back plays in Q4 (12:06 and 12:00 to be exact). Never saw another ball. Wasn't across from Haden the whole time. Ultimately, it's incredibly perplexing.
