You have got to see the melt down on the Browns forum. I read a comment that states everything that happened was scripted

Every single thing went the Browns way last night. They got favorable penalty calls all night. They fumbled like 4 times and recovered every single one of them, Baker played well, they ran the ball well, they threw the ball well, and the other teams QB missed most of the fourth quarter with a mysterious ailment.

And they lost because their defense couldn't stop a rushing attack, even with Trace McSorley leading the way.

The script was written for the Browns to win.

2011 had some great games. The Cards comeback. Steelers v Ravens II, but my favorite was week 1 against the Steelers. Not exciting from a game standpoint, but the beating we put on them had me chessing start to finish. That game was so satisfying after the terrible loss that ended our season. Also, that hit JJ put on Hines Ward. That was the game when I realized we had a real shot competing with anyone.

...Only to doubt myself after a loss to Tenn the next week.

Seahawks game from WAY back was crazy as hell, too.

Well here's to hoping that we can take care of business early on Sunday, get a good lead, and rest some guys, while allowing people like Duvernay and Proche to get some snaps and some opportunities.

I'm just really surprised that we're not seeing Proche at all on offence right now - he's a pretty savvy route runner for a rookie especially in short areas - when we spread teams out I would like him to be in there at least a little bit

Snead's consistently been #2 WR in terms of snaps. Duvernay's snaps came at the expense of Boykin, who took them back last night (after a good performance vs. DAL).

They did hand it off to him! And it might have gone for a TD! But the play clock ran out, and JH called a time out (Q2, 07:52).

yeah i remember seeing that play and being frustrated because it looked like a TD to me
but it was fine because we scored a TD on the next play iirc

I certainly can't. Thought it was about a consecutive starts streak, but according to PFR, he didn't start against TEN. Spotrac doesn't have any incentives in his deal either (doesn't mean they're not there). Would not be surprised to see him in street clothes at any point in the next 3 games.

Averett wasn't on the injury report, right? Just a straight healthy scratch? Mind-boggling.

im wondering if the conditioning isnt there coming back from injury and that he was only activated last week because of a severe shortage of players

but if not then it's bizarre that he wouldnt be activated

The last five minutes of the snow game vs the Vikings was pretty insane. I dont think any regular season game can top last night though. It had everything!
