i think ojabo may well have been in play at 14 if he was healthy - but he's a guy who's underdeveloped in the running game, is somewhat newer to the sport (not ridiculously new but not super developed like some guys) and is now going to miss the entire offseason and at least the first 2-3 months of the regular season at a minimum

just dont know that you can rely on a year 1 impact and that's tough to take for a team that wants to contend this year - if we take him ill be super excited and the value would be incredible but i would be a little nervous about his ability to impact when he returns in the autumn

but maybe you take that risk because here's an opportunity to get another upper echelon talent who has no right to be available and we normally dont get a shot at
The injury is an issue for sure. But maybe you move up later on to get a WR and then double dip at edge later with someone like Alex Wright/D. Robinson

toolsy as hell for sure but feels quite linear (like you'd expect from a 6'4 205lbs corner) - and he's not physical or dominant with his physicality in the way he needs to be

At that height and length will have to become more consistent with his route anticipation and play recognition to overcome short-area direction change deficit and hip tightness inherent in his frame and build – processing is undisciplined

and then on top of that he's a minnow in contact situations which puts me off him a bit lol

id take him early on day 3 as a developmental guy - but i struggle to justify spending a top tier pick on a guy who isnt going to be ready to play in year 1

there's 3 of these small school hyper long, hyper athletic corners and i think he's my least favourite of the 3:
Zyon McCollum
Joshua Williams
Tariq Woolen
Interestingly enough, every one of those guys is in my 3rd round bucket there

In no particular order, guys I'm looking at Gordon, Leal, and Lucas....maybe idk only if he falls to the 4th I wouldn't mind rolling the dice on Ojabo.

Will fuller, ty hilton.. which one coming to bmore?
I'd consider taking a swing on Fuller if he came around the minimum. A no harm no foul situation if it doesn't work out. But clearly the highest upside of what's left if you take OBJ out of the conversation.

for sure - just cant guarantee you'll get that 2nd guy but in a deep edge class maybe you take the risk

alex wright or dominique robinson would be great 2nd candidates in a double-dip - somewhat developmental with awesome traits

idk if the links will be up yet but if you ask again near when the round starts im sure there'll be someone here who can post one
Sweet, thank you

It takes a true ALPHA male to post such a outlandish take like this for the whole world to criticize. On par with Marlon’s hot takes. We got ALPHAs in the DB room!

Yea I gotta admit @Dom McRaven this is pretty goddamn alpha. Dude is clearly comfortable with his sexuality

my guess is everyone and their mum knew Jordan Davis was who we'd been targeting
but that didnt take into account the fact that Hamilton would be available

i had them in that order too for what it's worth

and as much as Davis would have been cool and the snap count issue is overstated... no DL plays 100% of the snaps... both the ravens 1st rounders will play every snap of every game (unless they ease hamilton in but idk why they would need to)

We've talked a lot about us but here are my losers/question marks of the night:

1. Lions - Hutchinson and Williams are big gets but not sure I understand the reasoning to trade up for Williams just yet. Seems like another case of a team not recognizing where they are as an organization. I know this isn't the QB year but you're now wasting some of those prime cheap years of a WR for Jared Goff to throw to him. Guess this changes if they suck and pick early again next year, but just brought some questions as to what they're doing.

2. Commanders - I really like Jahan Dotson but not sure why they moved back and missed out on the premium guys just to take a different WR. Felt forced.

3. Steelers - Only team to take a QB in a clearly weak class. Could have picked a better player and come up to get one later.

4. Cowboys - Think Tyler Smith has a lot of potential but that's a heavy undertaking for round 1. At least he went to a place where they develop guys decently well.

5. Patriots - I know this pick will probably work out in the end because it's the Patriots but feels like they overthought this one for sure.

6. Vikings - Don't mind that they picked Cine but feel like they didn't get enough value out of the WR run and the massive drop back.
1. Lions - I'm a big fan of Williams, but the Lions swindled the Vikings. They traded from 32, 34 and 66 but also received a 12 and 46 in return. That's a massive move for the Lions. Yes they will be picking high again next year.

2. Absolutely forced. They didn't expect the huge run of WRs and I believe Kyle Hamilton may have been an option as well. I'm absolutely thrilled that the Ravens screwed the Commies, more than anyone on this board. lol

3. Steelers taking Pickett makes me happy as fuck

4. I like Tyler Smith but he's not ready to play left tackle and could be a good guard to start, but his pass blocking needs improvement. Some of his weaknesses will be masked at guard.

5. BB - enough said (loved the Rams war room tweet). Can someone resend that, because I can't find it and want to save it. lol

6. Vikings -- totally agree with what you said

I would be too if I was him. Look at this dreamy ALPHA. That Jawline. The creators of SpongeBob must’ve used his features when drawing up Hot Squidward.
