and he is going to throw it right back in the face of all of these reporters and agents when he gets a huge money deal......with the RAVENS

What does the media not understand about the word VOLUNTARY? It's not that hard to figure out what that means. They write pointless articles about players not showing up for things they don't need to show up for... like come on man.

I wouldn’t be shocked if Lamar becomes too expensive for the Ravens and plays in another uniform in 2024. I would take a season or two off and cry if we entered into any sort of long term commitment above vet minimum with Huntley.

what could he possibly cost that would be too expensive for the ravens but not for other teams?

1. Agree with Rossi. I don't know why the Ravens would get outbid by anybody.
2. If it happened, it wouldn't happen until 2025.
The only thing preventing Lamar from being here for the next three years is a career-changing injury, or him falling flat on his face for the next two years. Like playing at a backup level.

I completely agree with you. If they deem him more expensive than what other teams can afford to pay him, shame on them for managing our cap space poorly and not being able to afford him. We must be able to match what any other team offers to pay him, period. The only way he doesn't stay is if he doesn't want to and I doubt that is in the equation.
The only team that worries me in poaching Lamar away from us is the Rams. In a couple of years, Stafford will be nearly gone and that would be the ideal time for them to make the play on Lamar. The Rams may be too enticing for Lamar given his other business interests and relationship with big stars from the area. I doubt he goes to Miami despite being from there. The only way he leaves the Ravens is to go to LA, where he can take over from LeBron as the local big gun sports icon. After this pontification, I'm shitting bricks that we may indeed have a chance to lose him.
