Hall of Famer
By the way, the commentators can fuck off by saying the Giants were the only team in the league without an INT. Fucking jinxes....
I feel the same way but I have to watch. I was in Europe during the Bills game and had to track down a bar that was playing the game. IWell not feeling too much better this morning. The three losses this season have been such a heartbreak. I may need to take a break from putting myself through it again this weekend. Hopefully we get healthier and with some missing pieces coming back, we can start playing much better. however, if the weather is nice, I have enough to do around the house and with the cars before winter. Losses are easier for me to take when I don’t get so emotionally involved watching it happen. We will see how I feel on Sunday. So far, this season has been a real disappointment for me and I am sure many of you feel the same.
It can’t be healthy to be that pissed off after a football game and I have had anger issues three times in the past few weeks.

I remember early in the game the commentators said the Giants had only been behind for a little over 11 minutes the entire season. Well we had only been behind for a little over 2 minutes and it was 14 seconds coming into the Bengals game.By the way, the commentators can fuck off by saying the Giants were the only team in the league without an INT. Fucking jinxes....
This is normally a completely a reasonable statement but we've really be awful at home recently. Obviously broke that streak with the Bengals win but recall even in that game we collapsed to give up a 4th quarter lead. We're lucky Lamar just rushed his way alongside TUCK to barely a win.We absolutely must win against the Browns. I’ve watched them a lot this season, they are very serviceable with Brisset, and Chubb is a monster. They find ways to lose games like us, hopefully home field will be the difference
I don't think anybody watching that game yesterday draws the conclusion that better receivers is the reason we didn't win. They're using the fact that the offense got stagnate and didn't execute as a method to push their own agenda that Lamar doesn't have infinite playmakers to deal with. For all those saying a WR won't fix things, I can't tell you whether that's right or wrong. But I can make one point for and one against.
The point for trading for a WR.
So far this year, points scored has highly correlated with the passing offense which is dominated by WR yards.
The point against trading for a WR.
Total points scored for the Ravens this year does not even correlate with winning lololol. If you're defense plays so erratic and poor that you're not even winning more than you're losing when you're putting up a lot of points what is the WR really going to do?
RSR is saying with Hurts this team is 5-1. Yea I don’t agree with that, don’t get me wrong, the Eagles and him look great this year, reminds me of us in 2019. One big difference though, much better WRs.
I totally agree here. My comment above was more looking at the season to date and in the context of the rest of the season not just yesterday. But yeah what you said about yesterdays game is just so obviously true and that's what sucks. That team shouldn't have even been remotely in the game let alone won.I don't think anybody watching that game yesterday draws the conclusion that better receivers is the reason we didn't win. This team executes literally fundamental things, like lining up correctly, converting extremely easy completions, making the correct read on a zone-read, and not doing dumb penalties, we win yesterday by double digits 100% of the time. We didn't need more WRs yesterday.
Better WRs may have allowed us to score more points earlier. That's fair. That's also not what was needed yesterday. What was needed yesterday was execution of fundamentals, not fantasy stats.
There's been games in the past where lacking personnel at WR has hurt us. There's been games where we were weaker in personnel and couldn't overcome it. That day was NOT yesterday.
Team on the other sidelines was materially weaker at WR and QB yesterday. They won. And it wasn't because their WRs or QB play better than ours.
I mean I would say Hurts certainly wins the Giants game but I do not think Lamar lost the Dolphins game or Bills game so I would have said 4-2. The hero ball just lost this game and people were calling Lamar out for it early and it really bit the team in the end.
Right, and so if I'm looking at the season ahead, adding WRs isn't on my radar. Executing fundamentals is. That's all I'm focusing on.I totally agree here. Amen!! He also has to get better his game before any wr we get can even matter.. right now, no wr or wrs will help his inconsistenciesFor most of the offseason all we heard about concerning Lamar was how he was working on his throwing mechanics and really staying dialed in even to the point he was even willing to miss OTA's . In training camp and during the first week of the regular season we heard all about how The Ravens allowed Lamar Jackson personal quarterback coach to coach him and work with the coaching staff with somethings. That's dope and great cause I've seen improvement from LJ throwing mechanics wise but honestly no way should Daniel Jones should have made his receivers look better than Lamar Jackson receivers.
No way you gonna convince me that Daniel Jones receivers are more talented than The Ravens receivers currently without Bateman. Jackson suppose to be the better quarterback but Jones just looked much better. I can't even blame this on coaching and for all the hate Roman has been getting the guy definitely has improved playing calling wise when it comes to the passing game . I guess Lamar needs better receivers but it's interesting how his throwing mechanics are off especially since the offensive line is passing blocking way better than last year.
A quarterback is not gonna be perfect everytime but the spotlight is definitely gonna be on Lamar a bit more especially when it's well known he's the guy that turned down The Ravens offer because he wants a fully guaranteed contract. I just would have liked to have seen Lamar Jackson help his receivers looked better in the past two games without Bateman but he hasn't. Devin Duvernay definitely has done his thing but maybe a better receiver would help I guess. Looked like some of the receives we either not good were open on some plays but Lamar only has Mark Andrews in his vision

A WR would absolutely help this team but what might also help is calling up Andy Reid and figuring out what he told Mahomes last year because this exact same thing happened to KC early last year where Mahomes was forcing throws and playing hero ball and trying to live up to the media version of Mahomes versus just being the QB of the Chiefs and letting the great plays come to you.I’m not sure this is true. The idea that no WR helps this team Bc of Lamar is far fetched.
