The Good, The Bad and The Ugly - Jags edition

The Athletic's Jeff Zrebiec ponders the same.

"The Ravens said all the right things, just like they did after the losses to the Dolphins, Bills and Giants," Zrebiec wrote. "What they haven't done is shown that they've learned their lesson. And until they do, it's going to be awfully hard to consider them a viable Super Bowl contender. They entered Sunday afternoon in Jacksonville looking like a team that was ready to go on a run. They exited it with the same-old questions about their ability to close.

^ I agree Jeff!

I’ve said substance but I guess if it doesn’t fit your status quo then it’s nothing. This is exactly why I stopped trying to argue my points on here

and yet you continue. You went as far as calling Lamar a thug.

Thug -a violent person, especially criminal

That is what you did, over a tweet made by a young guy who according to you can't say anything because he makes millions.

If you don't like the comment fine, but you took it a step further and have pushed this narrative now for multiple pages and won't stop. You are too worried about a comment made like that then the actual performance of the team.

Oh, believe me, the piss poor performance of the team isn't lost on me. It's just that none of you guys have the purple shades pulled down enough to listen to anything logical other than the same shit Harbaugh pulls all the time, "oh it's execution"

Well some of it is. There's also a contingency of the population, like you, that thinks firing Roman or Harbaugh is going to result in Edwards magically holding onto the football. Or receivers executing catches they've done since high school.

There's also a contingent of the population, like me, that realized about 10 years ago that no single act is going to change all aspects of the operation that isn't working. I would have thought fans had learned this from the like 10 other times we fired or changed coordinators and many of the same cultural issues still exist.

We fired Cam Cameron mid-szn and went on to win the Super Bowl.

Checkmate. Fire Greg Roman.

Sounds like a harbaugh culture thing, you’re right

You sure its Harbaugh's culture? Or the GM's culture? Or the Owners culture? Who do you think is driving the organizations culture towards talent identification, prioritizing positional values, etc.?

All I know is the culture of mediocrity didn’t exist until Harbaugh got here

And we fired Trestman mid-season and did not do anything better.
So...
This 1/2 second left before we snap bullshit is why Roman should be fired and NOW !!! Its pure nonsense and embarrassing.
Is there any other team that has this issue? I understand there are two calls made but shit this has gotta stop.

I'm not firing a coach for that, but its certainly gotta get fixed. I'd honestly pay good money to be a fly on the wall to figure out why the fuck that takes so long. I think its a compilation of a bunch of people not doing their job well enough, including both OC and QB.
