The Defence, the Offence and the Coaching

I'm the happiest Ravens fan I know that I was completely, unforgivably wrong about Hamilton. Very awesome to see his continued growth. I know y'all hate him, as do I, but he's reminding me a lot of prime Troy Polamalu. Just a stellar chess piece on the defense in all aspects.

On another note, no one here can tell me that if Clowney had played for us all his career and stayed healthy, that he wouldn't have reached his high potential. Guy is/was supposedly washed but he gets a crap ton of QB hurries, 7.5 sacks and constantly contributes like with the strip sack last night.

Don't let their record fool you. The Chargers have a legit offense. And we just made them minced meat

2 of Tuckers misses have been on unnecessarily rushed plays. Call the TO if needed.

@rmcjacket23 hated that 3rd and long challenge but understood it might have also been to settle the guys down as well.
It's not the best challenge I've seen, but in that situation in the game, it's pretty standard. Again, I think people's hatred of it has less to do with the challenge itself, and more to do with the failure to challenge prior more obvious calls.

Yeah player usage gotta be on harbaugh last year when jk wasn't get enough usage against the bengals, thought it was gro thing but seeing this season it gotta be harbaugh and he has to keep going with the hothand

Man it's the same thing, year after year, with seemingly every OC we've had except Kubiak.

I've not seen anyone call challenge 3 a problem. Literally who cares. It's honestly just number 1. Number 2 is such egregious failure of the refs we didn't even know what play down it was thinking it was first.

Officiating crew should never work another prime time game again

Weird game but a solid win. I’m pumped to be 9-3

Defense was bailed out by a terrible no call on the first drive and then dominated.
Offense was off , but this is what I expected on a west coast road trip. I had a feeling it was going to be ugly.
Coaching: Harbs continues to be a boob. I think it’s time for Monken to simplify things. Just get the rock to Keaton and Zay on repeat

The direct snap to Edwards on 4th down was the worst Ravens playcall in years . I could not believe it when I saw it and man was I angry.

He was heavily criticized on social media for the third challenge. But again, that's in the context of not challenging the first two.

I'll be the one to suggest also that I'm not entirely sold that we "win" the first challenge.

Im the only one who thinks monken isnt bad or something lol? I actually like monken play calling. I feel like he brings something different every week or atleast mixing it up.. maybe im just use to our last oc coming with the same shit week in and week out
I think you guys are the best team in football!

Monken is a significant upgrade over Roman.
Just didn't think he was great yesterday. Especially in short yardage.

Monken ain't perfect, but I EASILY prefer him over Roman. Our run game looks decent still, but I trust this pass offense under him more than I do with Roman.

I think the playcalling was a little shaky at times for the Ravens. I kept saying throw downfield. They won though and that’s all that matters.

Yea that was dumb when you have weapons like Lamar, Zay, and Keaton.

Who calls a direct snap on 4th down to Edwards when you have Lamar. Fucking stupid as shit.
I didn't like the call either. But Lamar keeping it ain't the greatest call either. He's been stopped short many times over the years.
Honestly this is the second OC who's struggled on 4th and short, which makes me think its a personnel problem more than a coach problem.
