I hate the fact that I'm in this position. I really am a fan of his and am happy he's on the squad.
But last season was the only one where you could make that claim. He was a damn good CB from 2013-2016 too, but the talk of him being the best in the league wasn't warranted. And it's a highly debatable topic given the quality CBs around the league. I'd take Jimmy as a top 10 guy. But there is an actual debate as to whether he's the best. There are 10 guys that I would put on his level. It's a defensible position, but not the one I take. Nonetheless, he's a shutdown level guy which makes the argument kind of pointless.
I do think that the team is currently blessed at the CB position though. I have Jimmy, Humphrey, and Young as top 40 CBs(sure, that doesn't sound impressive, but think of it. All 32 teams usually extensively play 3 CBs at a time. Some play more. That suddenly becomes very impressive).
