Yeah he got an offsides
tbf i still maintain on the replay both he and bowser timed the snap perfectly
that being said his only other pass rushing contribution was to stick an elbow into mahomes on a cheap shot he got away with
Yeah he got an offsides
It's not encouraging. I mean that's gonna be in their heads if they do meet again and it will be all over the news feeds until then.Just from a competitive standpoint, I really, really, REALLY did not want Lamar to say this about an opponent.
Joe just wasn't the same after his 2015 injury. 2013 was a rebuilding year , but I will always defend Joe during his 2008-2014 stretch.
He had his down games but was mostly solid with flashes of greatness
Nice little wake up call for the Ravens. We needed this honestly. We weren’t going undefeated. Look at the rest of our schedule though. Only teams that seem threatening are the Cowboys, Titans and Steelers twice. Put a gun to my head and I’m saying 12-4. We really need a pass rush though and at least one more weapon on the outside for Lamar because this horizontal west coast shit ain’t working unless Duv becomes that weapon. Officially done with Boykin
I don't think it's primetime that affects our play it's the importance of the game. This was a big game in the teams head that they had to win to prove to the naysayers we could, it would have had the build up of a play off game and wilted under the pressure. They really need to address the mental sides of things, Lamar looked like he was having Bradyesque tantrums out there.
we dominated against teams that may turn out decent but arent challenging for superbowls
tonight we found out that coasting to wins against ok teams means absolutely nothing when you play against the superpowers of the NFL
at least now they know what the level is to win a superbowl - we need to find a way to beat KC or we might as well pack up and wait for next year because i dont see a world where KC arent in the AFC Championship game at least which means the road to the superbowl will run through them
2014 he didn't have a comeback of note, he did help rally to beat the Browns and get into the playoffs and had really great performances against the Steelers in the wildcard and the Patriots except for that last INT. Still pissed about that one loli think 2014 was his best year of quarterbacking - but he was not a comeback specialist in that part of his career at all
HOLY. SHIT. I totally forgot about Averett. This could be a huge confidence booster for him going forward. Going into this year, the coaching staff made it clear that we were planning on using all four backs and have Lamar run less. Um....yeah about that. And again, abandoning the run when we were down 13-10.yeah the idea that lamar crumbles in primetime is recency bias - until tonight he was 4-0 in primetime - its just that the last 2 times hes been on the national stage we've shit the bed
the other defensive positive is that unless i missed it, i dont think anthony averett got beaten up at all which is a promising sign moving forwards
we cant let this game beat us twice - we take the loss and we take the lessons from it and we make sure we dont repeat them - the reason this loss annoys me so much is because many of the problems again seem self-inflicted and repeated from that Titans game
it felt like we made the same mistake twice and that's unacceptable - making mistakes generally is inevitable but repeating them is not
It's not that he's wrong, but I don't want him giving them even more of a mental advantage over him.Man as much as I hate to say it, Lamar's kinda right. Not to mention Lamar pretty much always speaks his mind
Idk Dom it goes without saying at this point - they're 3-0 against us. If they weren't inside our heads before the game they damn sure are nowIt's not that he's wrong, but I don't want him giving them even more of a mental advantage over him.
We are looking like flat track bullys at the moment. I'm sure a cricket analogy is going to confuse many here lol
My point is Lamar is almost in every way the superior of Flacco , but seems to so far beat up average and weak teams while struggling against the best.

Thing about Ben is that he's often the one who digs the holes that he then pulls his team out of. Rodgers is another level, but Flacco definetly had some games that should have been legendary combacks. Lee Evans, you gotta make that catch.he was never like Big Ben or Aaron Rodgers levels of comeback ability but I think his clutch factor was underrated. He often helped to win close games during the 2009-2012 stretch where the difference in the game was often 2-3 key throws. I went to every home game in 2010 and 2011. Joe wasn't a world beater and suffered from some definite limitations but the dude didn't flinch and I could easily comprise a long list of clutch plays and games from that time span.
