Somewhere I was reading said he was targeted 35 times, allowed 4 catches, and had 10 interceptions. Not sure how accurate that source was but Champ Bailey was definitely one of the best we will ever see.I actually think Bailey's 2006 season was better. He got an int something like 1 in every 3 targets and didnt let up a td.
Ps this is based of stats. I have little to no memory of the 06 season apart from our own
That’s pretty much what jimmy is doing, but he doesn’t follow the receiver around the field.
Yet Bailey always had WR that would consistently burn him. Bailey was great with both the Skins and the Broncos and I agree, he was a fantastic CB.Somewhere I was reading said he was targeted 35 times, allowed 4 catches, and had 10 interceptions. I'm not sure how many yards were allowed on those four catches but it is safe to say that it didn't total as many as his interception return yards (162) and he had 2 touchdowns off of turnovers.
Considering how Hopkins likes to put hands on corners, that could be real physical battle.I think Humphrey may matchup best vs Hopkins tbh lol. I dont want Jimmy to hurt himself
think we could see a couple OPIs this week
Yep, unfortunatelyprobably some dpis too just coz refs gonna ref yo
something that always gets lost in the mix of the whole "shadow cb" comparisons is this...That’s pretty much what jimmy is doing, but he doesn’t follow the receiver around the field.
Not yet.

Yep, I noticed that as well. Glad jimmy was reading Hundleys eyes. That's a great game for Canady to not be thrown at with that many defensive snaps, but he was very lucky to be bailed out by Jimmy's INT on the first drive. When Cobb motioned left from the bunch, Canady should have followed him, but was late. Hundley saw it and floated a pass to what would have been an open spot, but Jimmy read him early and drifted back for the INT.
That's just a teaser. You'll find out that their answer will be Jimmy Smith.LOL at NFL Network. They tweeted out Steve Smith and Michael Irvin are going to discuss who is the top CB. They show a row of pictures, 4 corners. Patrick Peterson, Xaiver Rhodes, Jalen Ramsey and Josh Norman.
Jimmy getting no respect.

The reasom why we probably dont allow jimmy to shawdow is cause of drop off in performance like you said, so therefore it is his fault.something that always gets lost in the mix of the whole "shadow cb" comparisons is this...
not all cbs are capable of changing sides of the field without a noticeable drop off in performance, its pretty common that the average #2 isnt capable of it.
so you cant ask your #1 to shadow if your 2 isnt capable of changing sides, it will make your cb2 a bigger liability. considering the corner depth weve had for jimmys whole career, the last thing id want is our cb2 having an even harder job. cant fault jimmy for not shadowing, because he has done it before and its always been the same theme, jimmy shuts down and the cb2 gives up burn all day.
Drop off In performance from the number 2, because the number 2 isn’t capable. Jimmy is capable. The reasom why we probably dont allow jimmy to shawdow is cause of drop off in performance like you said, so therefore it is his fault.
