The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly: Week 14 Edition

Well if we lose a game, the Browns game is the game we can afford to lose. Indy and bengals are common opponent games.

technically the browns is a common opponent game with the chargers but the chargers still have to play the chiefs which likely knocks either the loser out of wild card contention... so you're right it's the least important of all our remaining games in terms of tie breaking

To me, this goes with EVERYONE, not just Brady. I mean, you're getting paid millions of dollars to do a job and do it well. You BETTER care. It's cool and all that they have passion when they lose, but if they lose games, well.....so much for passion.

I hear ya, but like my previous post, it was more towards the "Steelers got to play a pissed off Brady" narrative. Same thing with us. The Browns are gonna "play a pissed off Ravens team." Well what happens if the Browns beat this pissed off Ravens team? What then (rhetoric question)?
What then? Then John doesn't need to bother going back to Baltimore. Cleveland is closer to Ann Arbor, Bisciotti should just pack his stuff and send over to Michigan.

Well I believe and have believed for a couple weeks now that the chargers would be winning the division. We shall see this weekend.

i do too but then again the chiefs offence has woken up the last 2 weeks after their abysmal slumber - either way one of them has to knock the other down

Personally, I just want us to win out. If the Browns had won one game, then whatever. However, FUCK THAT. DO NOT lose to this winless team.

You know damn well it was a rhetoric question. Like I said before, if we miss the playoffs given the number of opportunities to get into the playoffs, Steve B. needs to do what's right and clean house.

Yeah I know. I just can't comprehend that there's even a thought we might lose this game.

The Ravens are barely to be considered average as it is. If we lose to the Browns and are still going back and forth over playoff scenarios then some will have fallen hook, line and sinker and will have simply convinced themselves that this isn't a bad football team.

I have a hard time get excited about this team....if we lose Sunday? No way do we deserve a playoff berth.

Are you a new Ravens fan? lol

Seriously though, this team has been inconsistent all year and Gordon scares me. We generally beat the Browns, but they almost always play us tough and games tend to stay pretty close until the end. If this game stays close then I could see Gordon making some plays in the 4th to win the game for them.

I am not worried about one receiver, at best he gets 2 big plays. We won't get beat by the same guy over and over because we will have some safety help just in case, theres no way we would let that happen.

wait....................................

If we don't double Gordon all game then I'm gonna be pissed. Let Corey Coleman try to beat us...

Also, if Mosley continues to get abused in coverage then they need to put Bowser in there. They should really be rotating him in regardless so that Mosley can get some much needed rest.

Mosley looked gassed out there....

So around the nfl said something interesting that affected my perspective of this loss a little - it’s a disappointing finish but it tells us something more positive - we could and should have beaten what many consider the best team in the AFC with our defence the worst it has been all year - that tells us that we belong in the mix and could absolutely make some noise in the playoffs despite this win - this defence needs to adjust to jimmy’s loss better but we absolutely can and should be better on defence

Due to my work function, I'm not sure I'll have a recap article this week, but I'll think of something to make it up to you all. Maybe you all can give me something you want discussed and I can try to write something up.

Most disappointing thing about this loss was the Bills actually took the final playoff spot over the Ravens
