The Passing Game, The Running Game and another OL Injury

Guy I know is a Broncos fan and he was penalizing Lamar for all the YAC that the receivers have.....

Just think about this guys...lol

which is funny because the ravens since lamar took over get like less YAC than almost any other team in the NFL

and a bit rich coming from a broncos fan who when the broncos were moving the ball it was all receivers taking short-medium passes and running into open grass in the middle of the field

really???????? Is he also going to take away yardage from every other QB whose WR's got yac. Hmmmm, lets check how much yac Tyreek Hill gets...

The irony in his statement considering all the facts that we know to be true as it pertains to our receiving core not only this year but all time.

Think about the QB's who played in systems that had receivers create room to run after a catch.....

All that said, Lamar looks good slinging the rock 30 times and if it wasn't for that bonehead penalty its a 2 TD game for him and roughly 3330 in the air.

It's amazing how people will knock Lamar for literally every little thing. I guess he needs to pass to himself so then he can take credit for any YAC....

Everyone mad at us, even PFT had an article about the injury risk for a "meaningless" record. Like.... this is why we have the stupid taunting emphasis, the league has become soft. Man up... or get the hell out of a Man's Game Vangio!

I dnt care if a team call a TO to score one more td vs us when the game is clearly over. however… im sure if roles were reversed yesterday, yall would be tripping out on broncos for running a play to get that record..

The overall theme surrounding Lamar Jackson has always been the doubt created by the powerful talking heads that created this narrative about him coming out of college. I could be wrong....but I have never seen a player as successful and dominant as him leave college and be asked to switch positions. Then it was that he can't hit the corners....then it was he is not smart enough to take over an offense....then it was he can't keep running like that.....then it was Baltimore was a great team that protected him (laughable because we all knew how bad we were before he took over for Joe)

He is currently top 5 or 6 in overall pass yards and our offense is somewhere around 13th in passing offense.

Think they "figured it out"

No, I'd just be upset that we looked bad and couldn't at least stop them from getting yards on the last play.

not really - if it were to overtake a ravens record then id probably be pissed but we werent equalling a broncos record we were equalling a steelers record that had nothing to do with them

Sometimes I wonder how these people treating the sport like it's a stone cold business get any enjoyment out of it.

Have fun! Break the record! Be entertaining! Let the people getting paid treat the game like work.

In 50 years time we'll be able to look back at the record-setting Ravens with a smile and reminisce about the time they threw caution to the wind against the Broncos. This record is as much a part of NFL history as any super bowl win, and is the result of three years of hard work by a historically good and dazzlingly exciting rush attack the like of which the league may never get to see again. Just enjoy it for goodness sake.

I would literally just be like "good for them, keep that streak alive". Why is the NFL so salty about this stuff?

his throwing chart looks beautifully spread out with throws all over the field:

some frustrating low throws yesterday but other than that he had another amazing game as a passer

this is exactly it - yes in the moments and during the season the players and coaches are all about winning the superbowls - but as fans we should take pleasure in everything - we're getting to watch history being made in an unprecedented way, and even if we never win the superbowl with lamar we'll still have that 2019 regular season and all these amazing games and NFL records that this team has set so far

part of being a ravens fan has historically been about being treated like an underdog and not being given our dues at times - now we see the fruits of all that labour in these records being hit and smashed

no one can ever take the lamar spin or any of those other electrifying moments away from us

Odafe Oweh: Levels the Bronco's QB, ejecting him from the game with a concussion.
Everybody: *polite golf clap* "tremendous football play"

Ravens: Run a cheeky 5 yarder at the end of the game to preserve a 3 year streak.
Everybody: "This is outrageous! What is this game coming to?!"

There’s no way you actually believe that of us…. Every single person on this board would be calling our defense bums for allowing it, and calling the coaches babies for crying about it.

it’s a losing mentality to even begin to talk about “unsportsmanlike” in this manner, when you just got spanked at home to the most injured team in the league. We aren’t losers and don’t root for losers, that ain’t us fam.
