The Ugly, The Ugly and The Ugly - Steelers Edition

Fellas I have to say I think we have hit the breaking point on injuries. Hopefully we can win two more games and go 10-7 . That should be enough to get into the playoffs but I just don't see us beating anybody .

I don't know anything anybody else doesn't, but it seemed like having a backup QB to mentor Lamar (RGIII) and be in a teaching role had a good effect on him. Nothing against Huntley, but he doesn't really bring much to the table in this regard.
I mean rg3 didnt neither imo

Sitting here thinking that with how the Ravens offense has been looking for weeks now, I wouldn't be surprised if the Ravens dropped all of their remaining games (i.e., Browns, Packers, Rams, Bengals, and the Steelers) going down the stretch.

The Raven's secondary (and team) has been decimated with injuries and all of these remaining teams love to air it out and so the schedule seems more brutal now that Marlon is out for the season.

Lamar and the offense have already been struggling to start fast and to finish drives with TD's instead of settling for FG's but I am wondering how much pressure all of this adds to him mentally to attempt to make things happen and to at least come out of this 5-game stretch in the black (3-2).

Just figured it out. Tried to joost Ben's ego and pit confidence to get him a 5 year ext. We let them win...

Watched that play ten times over… I can’t be mad at anything. Right call. Right play call. Andrews did nothing wrong, and honestly, Lamar did nothing wrong, he was off by a foot and he had to make a hell of a play to get that ball out, he dropped, hitched up hard to make watt miss, watt anticipated it and slowed up with his hands up, Lamar as he’s hitching up throws it between watts arm and helmet, it just wasn’t there, it happens man. It sucks. I think if we run that play ten times and the defense plays it the exact same, Lamar can make that throw about 50% of the time, and if you asked the same of every other qb in the league I think that percentage is much lower, most are taking a sack, most don’t have the release Lamar has to deliver that ball THROUGH tj watt. I think pat mahomes and MAYBE Aaron Rodgers are the only qbs in the league making that throw, Rodgers in his prime definitely could pull that off but I’m not even sure about now because that play takes athleticism as well.

God I hope Lamar works with some guru’s this off-season

think this tweet puts it pretty well - the play was left in the hands of 3 of the very best in a high leverage situation and a matter of inches made the difference and TJ Watt's size and athleticism made just enough of an impact to change the throw

I hope this season doesn’t break Lamar. He’s a great and I’d hate for this bulllshit to psychologically fuck him up I doubt it, but it’s a fear of mine. Especially going into these final regular season games. I hope he remembers that’s he’s a stud no matter how this cursed season turns out. Crossing my fingers he finishes without a serious injury.

watching some moments of spencer schultz (ravensfordummies) video analysis, there are clear realities, and they have nothing to do with Roman
