Lamar would be the last QB I could see in the NFL holding out.You see, they don’t understand Lamar. They only see stereotypes of star athletes. They have absolutely no idea how to react to a quiet, humble, hard working athlete, nor do they want that from him because they can’t do many storylines with a guy like that

To be fair though, when Lamar uses proper footwork/etc, his passes are absolutely beautiful. He can throw with the elite. It’s all about consistency with his mechanics

his release is genuinely great - it's the lower-half mechanics that can get him in trouble
but his whippy arm allows him to generate a ton of power with such a quick release and it allows him to make those off-angle throws too - he's got a really nice release which is why you see him make these picture perfect spiral throws from lower angles and off-base...
the only thing id say is that his hand can sometimes get too high on the ball but that's probably the most minor criticism
what's most refreshing moving from flacco to lamar is the way lamar stays balanced in the pocket - his pocket movement, mobility and footwork is brady-esque
yawn.. nothing to see there.Lamar listed as a potential holdout :
