Lamar Jackson

I recently started lurking at rsr and the ravens reddit. Shit is hilarious there.
Hilarious? How dare you judge our lifestyle. How dare you desecrate Lamar's good name! That makes you as racist as that horrible Nazi Joe Flacco.

BURN THE CASTLE DOWN. SELL THE TEAM. BUILD UP A CHURCH FOR LAMAR

well from Harbs presser my guess is that joe might end up playing
apparently he was able to do some onfield work and harbs specifically said he doesnt need to practice in order to play

and just in case it was ever in doubt he said whether joe goes was 100% down to whether joe could play or not - no other factors

If its up to Joe, he is playing. I can't say he will play well but he definitely is tough even by football standards.

I'm agnostic, but considering the Tabernacle of Tucker. The rest I agree with. Burn the Castle and sell the team to James Dolan.

He also said Lamar and RG3 would get consideration for starting if Joe can't go. At this point, why not go with Lamar for the rest of the year since we gave up a second round pick to trade back in and get him. Starting RG3 would basically be trying for a top 10 pick. Also start Lamar, if he gets us to the playoffs somehow then Joe will be fresh and healed up(hopefully) and January Joe will be ready to go Wild Card Weekend. It worked for the Broncos who switched to Osweiler and went back to Peyton for the playoffs.

peyton didnt win them that superbowl - he was a passenger - but that's by-the-by

there's absolutely no point in starting RGIII unless Lamar plays and looks lost or starts taking too many hits

Interesting Take:

Jonas Shaffer on twitter:
John Harbaugh suggests Joe Flacco will be a game-time decision. He insists he's happy the news got out, as it'll keep the Bengals guessing.

Followed by this quote-retweet from Samuel Njoku:
That’s coach speak for: “I’m furious the news got out because it gives the Bengals 3 days extra to prepare for Lamar Jackson”

I'm not sure I buy that take but interesting that these guys basically took the opposite out of the presser to what I did

I think if they plan on continuing to compete for a playoff spot they would go with Rob if Joe can’t go. Point being he’s an experienced QB that has proven he can can win in the NFL.

He had one fluke season as a rookie and has been nothing short of a disaster otherwise and has proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that he can not operate from a pocket nor can he scan the field in any way. Bad experience isn’t the experience you want when you have a future to worry about.

Harbaugh is a wanker.
Joe needs extra practice every week, actually.
They’re gonna start joe and he’s gonna be a statue and force check downs to double covered options 10 yards shy of the first down and pass for 122 yards 0td and 2ints and Harbaughs gonna say “joes played well first of all, he’s got some things he’s gotta work through but he played a really good football game, and were gonna move forward with him”

the score will be just close enough that they wont bring jackson in to take over the offence either

No matter, he has NFL experience and we’re talking about someone filling in until Joe could return.

Bad experience only shows a proven loser and means jackshit otherwise
OK. lol. But Rob’s impressed someone enough for them to carry him on the roster and if they feel they have a chance at the tournament he would fill in.

I think the reality at this point is there’s too much wrong in other areas for any QB to make a meaningful difference no matter who it is. But hey who knows maybe the bye straightens some things out, turns linemen and RBs into beasts and brain dead coordinators into geniuses.

@Tank: If we're going to win, we might want a winning qb. RGIII does have some experience in that area.

@JoeyFlex5 : Well, if you consider failure experience.

@Tank : I consider experience, experience.

Well this team has a top tier defense and some really quality receiving threats, the OL, run game, lack of pass rush, and above all things(aside from OL play) the qb play has hurt this team badly. Quality qb play could right the ship.

Am I saying lamar will bring qb play good enough to right the ship? Nope, I don’t think we make the playoffs with any qb, but we know bob isn’t good enough to delay the development of lamar
