Offensively, I feel like we played into the anxiousness of having a sizable deficit in T.O.P. with the idea that the defense would continue to concede points. Even when it was flipped on its head in a positive direction during the second half. It's the only realistic explanation that I have for how frantically we played. Gus Edwards rumbled on his first carry for 15 yards in the middle of the 1st quarter and his next touch didn't come until the 3rd. This was arguably one of our worst offensive game plans of the entire season. And every team has those, this one just came at the worst possible time. It'll be tough to let go of one of the best performing teams we've ever had. That said, the vast majority of the core will return next year. We could feasibly be as impressive next season.
