woah woah woah...Take it easy guys.
Anti-biotics have been in use to cure it. Z-pak in combination with zinc and HCQ by Dr.Raoult in France and a Dr. in New York. Their results look promising, but it's not a real study, we gotta wait to see further results. I'm not saying anti-biotics should be used for a virus, but you can't deny they're completely useless.
imho Sweden had the worst response out of the EU - at first they wanted to infect everybody and implemented very lax measures. Now they did a complete 180 after things got worse than they expected. Local scientists called out the CDC (who had been in charge of it all) saying their data was incomplete and outdated.
I knew about this stuff in January and believe me all of our governments did as well. They all made mistakes for different reasons - but now is not the time to point a finger at whatever you guys are doing here. We all have the same enemy and we must fight it together.
It's pretty hard to resist pointing fingers when the most powerful countries in the world are fucking up the worst, looking only after their own selfish interests while giving close to zero fucks about the rest of us, including even their own people.

when is the best time to point fingers then?
Look as of now we don't know much about this virus. To say somebody did this or that wrong at least to me doesn't make much sense now. After we've overcome it i think it it makes sense? Different countries had different strategies and at the end there are probably 2 or 3 that were successful (if there is such a thing).

this is exactly what the UK government did - Sweden's just lagging behind by a week or 2
Who was in charge Johnson or your CDC (or I believe you call it NHS?)? In Sweden it's their CDC and I haven't seen any CDC implementing this strategy apart from Sweden.

except it's already clear who made mistakes, and why they made mistakes, and they still refuse to admit their mistakes or apologise for their mistakes

if you dont hold them to account then they dont change

in the UK, it took major pressure from the public and some journalists for the government to admit their initial strategy was wrong and to change tactics to the ones that actually worked - but without finger pointing our lockdown/social distancing measures might have come in even later which would have meant even more deaths than the too many we're already having here

our NHS isnt a policy making institution - it's literally the national health service - our socialised national state healthcare provider - all policy and strategy and funding etc. comes from government - the NHS has its own administration etc. but doesnt decide policy or strategy in the way the US CDC does - but partly my guess is that is because we dont have partisan appointments for institutions in the way that the US does

Alright. I give up.

As you should after all the bullstein you been posting........Good Sir.

dude, the uk had the worst response out of the EU - the EU even asked us if we wanted to join with them to get PPE and ventilators and our government turned it down - and big surprise we now have a shortage of all of those things leading to more deaths

we're on track to have the highest deaths and death rate in Europe

and what do you mean "are they allowed to separate now"?

With the open borders between countries they should be considered as one entity when it comes to any type of counts cuz of the free flow but now its Italy or Spain or France. So therefore the EU has had the worst response and its not even close. The US is worst? Yeah right.

So I'm going to have to assume by this post that the EU has plenty enough equipment now and all of it is in top shape. Where did they get their great equipment from? Please dont tell me China. It also sounds like a deadline was missed.

https://www.reuters.com/article/uk-factcheck-johnson-ventilators-europe-idUSKCN21Q350

America is making the majority of their own ventilators if not all and I'm seeing the Brits are doing the same. Have a little faith in your countryman. Also about the deaths America was supposed to be between 100k and 240k but the prognostications keep going down and its a good chance it will happen in the UK. Scientists are like doctors cuz they gotta predict high/worst scenario cuz if they lowball it their reputations will be ruined.

Thanks for posting that. To a lot of people it seems Trump has to be perfect and knowlegable about everything. I dont remember any president being scrutinized relentlessly like this.

when is the best time to point fingers then?

If you're gonna point fingers point them at China

That's because his ego is so big that he refuses to put it aside and thinks he can do whatever. I don't agree with everything he has done or said, so much of this is his ego running wild. I'm pretty sure that's why he ran for President to begin with, to stroke his own ego. At the end of the day, he is the President of the United States and as soon the Democrats went full on supporting Joe Biden, they ensured his re-election come November.

Only thing I know is the World Health Organization and China were working together to spread misinformation about the virus and covered up how deadly it truly was. WHO said on January 14th in a tweet that according to Chinese Authorities, the virus can not spread through human to human contact. On Jan 22nd, they tweeted out that there was evidence of this virus spreading through human contact, but I thought it didn't? On January 23rd, WHO tweeted that it was too soon to declare a public health emergency of international concern. Only for WHO to then declare days later, it WAS a public health emergency of international concern.

When Trump initiated the Travel Ban on the 31st of January he was called racist for doing so. So either he doesn't put the Travel Ban in at all and he gets bashed by for not doing anything sooner, or he puts the travel ban in and gets called racist by the same people. Trump loses no matter the situation.

You know anything about the context? Did you watch? He is talking about a certain situation which is reopening up the economy that he has "total authority" over. Not being an overlord of the whole United States.

You blame him for not shutting down the economy fast enough but yet he's not allowed to reopen the economy? Does that even make sense to you? Hopefully something is dawning on you. It is the governors responsibility to do both...........until National Emergency was enacted on March 13. This law gives the president way to many powers and some of them are seizing property, martial law and suspending laws. So when he says he has "total authority" over what he declared a National Emergency over he is right. As the saying goes in Cool Hand Luke " I dont like it anymore than you do".

So now all these governors and liberal media want to talk about my favorite the 10th amendment. LMAO!!!! Yes lets. Abolish a bunch of federal depts and no more talk of single payer health. Its a state issue lol. If anybody wants big gov take a look now. Take a long hard look.

The context is clear every time, despite you desperately trying to find something that simply isn't there. What you don't see, blinded by conservative political agenda, is the fact that he is a hack.

Beside Ivanka Trump and Kushner, Trump just announced Robert Kraft, Jerry Jones and Mark Cuban will be appointed to the commission to "reopen" America.

DeSantis announced WWE as an essential service earlier today.

Exactly how much lunacy would constitute enough to reach a tipping point?

Next time I'd wait until the task force is officially announced. Also the sports guys were only going to be on a call that involved only sports and that involved other like Gary Bettman and David Stern and of course "The God of Football". As for the wrestling they were already doing empty house shows anyways so who cares but its not essential imo either.

Can we stop until at least after the draft unless something really really important comes up?

sometimes you say things in this thread that i think you think are emphatic rhetorical points but actually aren't the dunks you think they are...

I've criticized his tweets as being too harsh. I've criticized him signing the 1st budget bill which I thought should have been vetoed. I've criticized the Anwar inclusion in the tax cut bill (remember that). I've said he has definitly cheated on his wife with Stormy. All have been posted on here. You and @allblackraven have only put up negative propaganda but yet I'm the blind loyalist while i guess both of you are the moral authority. He just gave big time false info in his last post and I took it easy when I got snapped at. I think I put it quite properly and it aggravated you.

There was nothing false about that, though. Why else do you think he backtracked on his "total authority" statement just a day later? He never apologises or explains other utter shit he often claims - usually he either ignores everything or he tries to defend himself with more lies.

I was referring to the Jared/Ivanka thing. Tbh I've never heard a president apologize to Americans. I cant say none has when it comes to other countries lol. Trump has always worked with the governors. He's always on conference calls with them. He left the shutdowns to all the governors on how they wanted to do it and the "total authority" has to be from the powers a president has during National Emergency which are too much tbh. Its most defintly not constitutional thats for sure. It was never his plan to use this but just to state that he could. It would be a major court battle anyways.

If I judged Trump only by his temperament I wouldnt like him either.

This is a timeline down below to just show it wasnt only Trump that didnt take it serious enough but also as to maybe why. At the Tuesday press conference Fauci said Trump did everything that was suggested to him. Carefully note the things Fauci said.
