depending on our cap situation post free agency and post draft you might see us try and do his deal this year too - more likely though we approach him next offseason and exercise the 5th year option too...

Because we have amazing depth at corner and jimmy is physcial enough to play safety along with his coverage skills it makes sense

exactly his skillset isnt well-suited to playing safety tbh - why keep him, pay him that money and then put him out of position where he has less value to the team...

Jimmy gets around the ball a lot and has good instincts . I think he would be a good Free Safety . You still have Humphrey, Young and Carr .
