2019 Forum Mock: Discussion Thread

I've been a fan of Blake Cashman for a bit now and feel like he will end up going in the 3rd round. Cashman just screams Ravens to me.

When you're not sure, just pick Tide D line
I thought about him too, but not too long, since I've been a fan of Cashman for quite some time. He was the reason I ended up trading up. I was quite sure he was not going to be available with my next pick in the 5th.

I like Buggs - he is pretty versatile, apart from nose guard, he can be put anywhere on either 34 or 43 front. Made huge progress in 2 years from JuCo to Bama starter.

Having to make a slight reach here, as I think this is about as high as somebody will take Kirven, but he was the top LB left on my board. Another highly athletic, smaller defender.

Haven't really had the time to go to the tape on him, but I've seen he has a pretty huge fanbase out there in the Twitter-verse. One interesting thing in my research is that he has the second shortest wingspan for a LB ever... second to Shaquem Griffin for obvious reasons. Really curious to see how that impacts him in the NFL.

Other note - I absolutely hate this whole "BPA" approach that I'm going with right now. It's much easier to target a specific position and find a player you like there. This evaluating everyone thing sucks lol

Sorry about Johnson @RavensPunkXVX .
I was already considering as a trade back option in the 3rd and he was the reason I wanted to jump up in the first place, before that situation came up.
I had fallen in love with him during the Senior Bowl and well..those kinda plays he made are exactly what everyone expects from a starting box safety.

11.30 sees blocker coming from his blind side and avoids him with spin.. Good shared tackle for no gain. Good awareness

23.28 very quick reaction time and good speed to find hole and make tackle in the bf

1.23.39 as a nickle DB. freezes waiting for the RB to pick an angle. Reads the flea flicker and recovers with unexpected speed and angle to challenge the WR. Play is a completion anyway, but the progression he made through it is brilliant in my eyes.

1.30.36 good angle to force the RB to the boundaries and good speed to close.
