Way-Too-Early Prospect Watch: 2019

This has to be a troll list. I refuse to believe any sane human being would put GOTG2 and Black Panther below an objectively bad movie like Iron man 2.
I hated
Hated
Black Panther
and GOT2 was just so meh I laughed maybe twice in that whole movie. I would have to re-watch IM2 because maybe I would rate it lower than GOT2 but that’s my list now.

And I enjoyed Thor 2 so...

I wasn't the biggest black panther fan in the world... But it's a better movie than GOTG 2...

Iron Man 2 is just a bad movie in general, let alone a bad superhero movie. Thor 2 is boring. Thor 3 is fucking hilarious but pretty overrated as a movie. Same goes for Civil War. Good action, dumb story

That's it. Just trade up to the first overall pick and select Bosa. He's a dream fit in this scheme and will be a stud for years to come.

Or Oliver. I'll take either. This class is literally horrible outside the first round

so as far as LBs go, im very intrigued with josh allen, his best fit may be outside, MAY be, im not 100% on it, as a complement to mosley he has real potential, i havent seen much from him as far as coverage goes, but allen can bring the fucking heat on the blitz, and at 6'5" and very athletic and rangy and obvious instinctive style of play, he has potential to be a game wrecker in a LB corps like ours. suggs-mosley-allen-judon for now and then judon-mosley-allen-bowser would be fucking insane, thats a lot of mobility and versatility on the strong side.

also, khalil hodge from Buf is an intriguing day 3 guy for me so far. he looks comparable to mosley, hes often making leaping picks in the deep middle, adlibbing blitzes on extended plays and finishing them strong, 2 things mosley does a lot of.

shaquille quarterman is simply retarded with his adlib blitzes and delayed blitzes, he knows when to make that call, he lives in the backfield and does it on instinct.

all in all though, i think devin white is probably my favorite rd 1 prospect for us. i like kenny youngs range and smarts in coverage, but poor block shedding and soft wrap-spin-deadweight style tackling is a concern. i think even as a rookie he comes in and helps alleviate some of our coverage lapses from our ILB corps(and tony jefferson isnt the best support for those guys either) but in the end i think were gonna be looking for a more complete ilb sooner rather than later. i think kenny young may carve himself a good niche here as a guy who can chase and cover in a pinch but he wont be a starter most likely

Yeah the RB revolution is kind of over. Guys like Love, Montgomery, and Najee Harris have talent but they're not generational guys. Each of the last four of the first RBs off of the board legit have all pro potential... (Yes Fournette included. That dude is a fucking sledge hammer with probably the best long speed in the league at any position). Then you have guys here like Hunt, Kamara, Melvin Gordon, etc who honestly put each of those guys to shame. Najee Harris is easily the most talented of the bunch but his game is more akin to a Steven Jackson(who's honestly a lofty comparison. He puts up those numbers with the Patriots instead of the pathetic Rams and Steven Jackson is likely a first ballot hall of famer) Very good talent, but not a generational one. Easily the two best RBs this decade from Bama have been both of the Harris guys. Not even close tbh.

Quarterman is so aggressive and so instinctual that I think he'll be a perfect fit next to Mosley. And he seems like the type of LB Wink would love.

Mosley does that shit pretty well too but I think he's too valuable in the Tampa 2 concept, he does it incredibly well, so maybe he would be a good complement but honestly I'd prefer a guy who can man cover and go sideline to sideline fast to take away intermediate crossing routes, teams killed us on that

You couldn't have seen enough of Harris' game to be able to say stuff like that.

assuming we arent picking very high(which is entirely possible, who knows) im really liking lukas denis for us. that kids skillset is exactly what we need, hes a single high style rangy ballhawk. outfielder style of player being able to cover a lot of ground, undersized but makes up for it with speed and a very apparent football IQ, ill take that over long and strong for a FS any day.

First study for 2019: Terry Beckner from Mizzou. Fantastic flexibility and light feet. Has some power and leverage but his hips and overall athleticism make his tape really fun. Can go early round 2 if the production is there to back it up.

Sounds like an edge rusher. Is he an edge rusher?

After another Dixon injury here's a RB that might be Dixon's replacement: Utah Junior RB Zack Moss.
In 2017 he had 1173 rushing yards and 243 receiving yards. From what I've seen so far he's a patient back and has big play ability. Ideal height/weight combination

Really like Dre’Mont Jones OSU and Jeffery Simmons Miss St. they could provide the interior pressure we’ve been lacking the past few years

Why is dexter Lawrence so highly touted? I don’t see it. He’s just a big fucking meat mountain. He controls the line against the run, he absolutely dominates there, the line bends to his will, but he disappears in the pass rush, no penetration because he can’t get skinny in the gap, and his shedding leaves a lot to be desired in that regard.
