We got to try something, and yes I believe with Lamar things will be better and I still believe we can make a Super Bowl run when Lamar comes back with the way our defense is playing. Just man we need to try anything, the fact Harbaugh said it starts with the coaching, yeah it's too late now but we can give ourselves a better chance offensively firing Greg Roman tomorrow. The no Lamar thing is an excuse, when Huntley is built to essentially do the same thing, you can't call it an excuse.

For those calling for it, Harbaugh isn't going to be fired. He is part of a nexus the Ravens brass has formed with Bisciotti sitting on top. He isn't going anywhere till such time that he has another 4-5 win season which is only likely if they don't get Lamar signed. Otherwise, he stays as long as Lamar is the QB. He is gone the year after Lamar leaves for greener pastures and SBs because that team will provide him with the support he needs.

I agree with this. For now. Although He may be on a short leash if they sign Lamar to a Watson type deal and the playoff fails continue.

When did it count in particular? Because if Pickett had managed to get a touchdown on lliterally any of their 2nd half drives it would have been enough, given the state of the Ravens offense.

I think the real significance of the Steelers scoring late was that the defense finally began to wear down without any help from the other side of the ball, rather than them failing 'when it counted'.

Typical Ravens Steelers score line, but we got our ass handed to us at the los. They ran at will and it was frustrating to watch. Can't recall the last time a team dominated on the ground like that against us. We did toughen up in the red zone most of the game, which was a bright(faint)spot, I guess. Pickett made some clutch throws when they needed it, unfortunately he looks like he might be a good one.

Looked for a while like we we might survive another weak offensive performance, but the O really folded in the 4th. Did Gus even play? Not sure what has happened to Snoop, but he's struggling. Maybe playing hurt, I know they've been talking about his shoulder... don't know.

I think we came out without any major injuries, so there's that. And even with this loss, Bengals lose tonight and we play them for the division crown next week. Who knows, get some guys back and maybe whoop some bungles ass!

Well, yes, because the defense had managed to hold up until the end, that then became the most significant drive, but if they'd given up a TD on the first drive of the half the end result would have been exactly the same.

I just think if you're going to blame the defense for conceding late, you should also praise them for keeping the Ravens alive until late, or, even better, direct the blame at the offense, where it belongs.

This wasn't the terrible 4q collapse, but It was still ugly. Our offense isn't bad, it's just that Roman SUCKS. Gus Edwards ran for 99 yds this week, he had 3 carries. C'mon, that's BS. ROman should be fired ASAP

Agreed. This defense is carrying the team. Roman just needs to recognize that he should hand off the ball more.

Not true. The defense has been good. Just not good enough to compensate for the offense.

Yeah if your goal is being average then you make a great case. Last year we were ranked 6th in yards per game and 17th in points per game, guess which one of those metrics are more important?

and that was without any of our running backs and injuries all over the OL. He got another chance because of the injuries last year, but I don't expect him to make it past this season. I wouldn't be surprised to see Urban given a chance, but I'd prefer Frank Reich.
