2018 NFL Draft

I really hope we can get a dynamic WR with a third. An offense with Lamar, Collins, Hurst, Crabs, and some other guy could be deadly. Reminds me of 2010 eagles. Can someone tell me if Jackson has any injury history? I honestly know nothing about him because I never even expected this. Give me a scouting report, anyone up to it. I'm neutral on the pick rn but feel I would love it. He does seem incredibly stupid though.

Trading back 2xs to get Hurst definitely stung. Initially I was pissed and thinking typical Ozzie b.s. I wanted WR Ridley. But, then I watched him on Youtube. I know highlights aren't the end all be all concerning a players ability to play at the NFL level but it's better than nothing cause I don't keep up with all of these college prospects. Hurst isn't too bad. And, then we got QB Lamar Jackson? Wow! I'm pumped to see what's in store tomorrow night!
Hey Militant how are ya bud?

I feel the same way. Im in a way, confused. I see all this excitement for him but the last I remember hearing from him was terribly under throwing at the combine. I hope he lights it up though, Im more happy that this means that we can get out from Joe's cap hit and spend money elsewhere.

Watch his proday - even between those 2 weeks or so he looked miles better

Jackson has never missed a game in college.

Flacco has no guaranteed money following this season.... That certainly means this will be Flacco's last season with us before he moves on elsewhere.

Neither did Stanley then Harbaugh happened lol.

Best case scenario...Flacco plays the best season of his career and we are able to trade him for a 2nd round pick while Jackson takes a year to develop.

If Flacco plays well and I mean “well”, we’re collecting a first in this era.

If he is released after 2018, his dead cap will be $16M (pro-rated signing bonus). We'd make $10.5M cap savings though. Don't think he'll go before the end of 2019.

But if he has an Alex Smith type year after they drafted Mahomes, then we could possibly trade him and get the other team to pay for a chunk of his contract.

What a night, so when Derwin James fell to 16 I was buzzing, thinking Ozzie has done it again!

Then we traded back and I was gutted, straight away then I thought we were going TE as if we wanted Moore, Jackson, Ridley etc why risk it, take them at 16.

Hurst at 25 I love tbh, fits a need, plug and play, picked up 2 picks moving back and WR is deep in the mid rounds to address (hopefully Gallup or Miller)

Mad thing was after the Steelers pick over here in the UK I was like ok were done anyway, im heading to bed! Never ever saw that trade coming for Jackson

BUT I LOVE IT!

whats the deal with the steelers just taking whatever fucking db whenever the fuck they want? like hey we need a safety, and we can get this guy a whole round later but lets take him anyway. did it with artie burns and sean davis and now edmunds. like maybe those guys wouldnt have lasted that long, but damn, consider the top player just once, rather than going all out for need every first round
Senquez Golson in the 2nd, 2015 draft as well.

My worry is now the Browns getting Guice. That would be tremendous value. Idk wtf the Seahawks smoked. They should've just followed my Forum Mock advice

I was going to go to bed but for some reason I decided to stay up a little longer and I'm so glad I did! That was the most entertaining draft for some time.

Like Penny a lot. I’ve noticed the recent trend of senior bowl running backs playing well in the Senior Bowl game becoming star RBs. David Johnson and Kareem Hunt to name a few.

He is the most skilled qb in draft

I don't care for him. I would have taken him before Lamar Jackson, but not before Darold, Allen and Rosen. Time is always the best judge. I'm guessing time reveals Mayfield is "manzelly".
