Ravens Ring of Honor
I see what you mean then if that’s the case. You can give first round grades and guys slip all the time based upon where they’re graded. I guess I think the difference in semantics for me is I think he could go in the second to early third more than his talent. I just see a stacked WR class and a lot of guys evenly graded. In those situations I feel likes possible that dudes fall because of positional need, depth, and also varying opinions on traits in WR. Everyone seems to value something different in a guy and the league seems to get excited about the flavor of the month in terms of positions. None are more apparent than at WR, where varying opinions can swing guys all over the place.I’ll admit with no shame that I don’t do big boards, because big boards include prospects that I’m never gonna watch because I don’t like the idea of drafting them for whatever reasons.
I have him as a first rounder simply because I like his skill set, ceiling, and the fact that he not only fits our philosophy and fills a major need, but also fills a second major need by giving us the first returner we’ve had since jacoby.
I give players round designations pretty simple, would I be okay with the ravens taking this player in this round? If the answer is yes, that’s the grade I give them lol. I’d be fine with raegor in 1.
really I don’t see the kind of shortcomings that would knock him down to a second round grade, as in he doesn’t have enough negative in his game for me to say I would not take him in round 1, but that doesn’t mean he’s my favorite option for us at 28, nor does it mean I wouldn’t prefer to get him in 2 if possible
Raegor would be a nice fit here though from a RS skill set alone.
