Oh boy.

Get used to seeing this Dodgers team. In addition to having the second highest payroll in all of baseball, they also have a kickass farm system that will use to dominate the majors for the next decade or so. Even if they don't win this year(Which I don't think they do fwiw), they'll be back soon. Sure, Darvish was a one year rental, but they have so much fucking talent in that farm system that they might be able to adequately replace him immediately, if not resign him altogether. Why would Darvish want to leave. The Dodgers can afford to pay him ALL THE MONEY and they're in position to be a WS contender for the next decade. They have the best pitcher of the modern era in Clayton Kershaw, who now is a good postseason pitcher since they have a manger that can acutally use him correctly for once(knock on wood). Darvish is a strikeout machine, and would be a #1 pitcher on most teams, who has also been good. Alex Wood when not rusty would be a high end #2 on most teams. He had a bad outing against Chicago, but overall has been stellar this season. Then you have Rich Hill, who would also be a good #2 on most teams.. He's there fourth fucking pitcher. Their pitching core is so damn deep, that high end #3 Hyundai Jin ryu has been left off the playoff roster entirely, and other high end #3 Kenta Maeda has turned into a reliever for the postseason. Bullpen? Dodgers have a pretty good one, so when they have to pull out Kershaw in the 7th inning they can afford to do it. And their closer, Jansen, is one of the best in the game... That's their pitching corps. It's as good as any championship team in league history, and one the deepest I've ever seen.

Oh, as for their offense/defense? There's some old timers in there like Justin Turner, Curtis Granderson, and Andre Either. But then you have the insane influx of young talent that is going to stick around. They skull-fucked the Cubs without their best asset in Corey Seager. A defense stud at shortstop with a well above average offensive game. Then they also have future megastud Cody Bellinger, with one of the purest swings in baseball.. And he was a mid tier prospect in their farm system so that should scare everyone. Chris Taylor is a damn good leadoff hitter and a solid defensive player. Logan Forsythe is not a terrible player either. Then you have megadouche Yasiel Puig. A massive hot head but a high level talent capable of pulling an all star year out of his ass for no reason. Yasamini Grandal is both a great defensive catcher, and a good batter as well.

This team is a juggernaut. I don't think they're ready to win yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if they did.

Jesus fuck. Go Astros. You're the only team that stands a real chance at putting the Dodgers dream away

Nah you should be more scared of the yankees, they have more money and an even better farm than the dodgers, in fact they have the best farm in all of baseball.
