2022 General Draft Thoughts

If none of the tip top tier guys are available I'm really liking the talk of moving back. Maybe 14 and a 4th with KC for 29 and 30 or 14 for 32 and 34 with DET. Getting two first round picks as we did last year would be awesome, maybe then we can get a high level corner and edge (Booth and Ebiketie please!) before we even get to our second round pick.

Are there any other trade downs people see happening?

I'm the opposite. I see a lot more good corners throughout this draft than potentially elite edge rushers. We'll find corners that can contribute in the third and fourth round picks. Meanwhile there can easily be a rush on the top athletes among edge rushers and we'll be left with scraps with the second pick.
I see a lot of mid round corners that look promising but most of those guys look like slot guys to me

I personally don't see a QB being taken in the top 10. I do think however, there could be like 3 WRs taken in the top 15. I think many mocks are really undervaluing how the league sees receivers. Especially with these new contracts too

I agree about the WRs. I disagree about the QBs. There will be at least 2 QBs taken before we draft. Just my sense of how these things pan out on draft day.

I'd flip a coin
I really like Cross but but it'd be damn hard to select him over Sting if it was up to me. Ickem though I'm running to the podium lol

i dont see how the giants dont take sauce at either 5 or 7

I think they will based on them hiring Wink and how his defense works. Only thing is, it's likely Stingley as I feel the Texans may take Sauce at 3. They need a top corner if they are going to eventually compete in the QB heavy AFC.

for me i think there's a load of dropoffs in this class at corner where the tiers drops are a lot less sharp and sudden at EDGE
ive got way more edge guys in every round than i have CBs

another benefit to trading down is it's way more likely there are QBs off the board by the time we pick
