The Lamar, The DeCosta and the Andrews

So our defense is coming alive. That’s scary for the league. Every team on our schedule was counting on exploiting our 3rd corner and LBs, and now with Peters and the emergence of fort and bynes, that might not be an option.

Btw, LJ fort was an absolute machine today. Who the hell is this guy??

Amen. I liked what I saw from Fort a lot. He showed up in a big way.

All starts with the run defense. They tighten up the rest will fall into place.
 
I can't wait for year 2 of Miles Boykin. He's slowly coming along and it's going to take some time for him. He's going to have a big game soon.

I agree. I'm interested to see what the second half holds for him, but next year should be the year for him to break out. WR's tend to take a while to get their footing.
 
I just checked the stats and Lamar was 9/20?! Wow how many drops did we actually have? That’s insane. I know at least 3 came from Andrews and all three were fine passes I think there were more too.

there were atleast three other drops and the Andrews touchdown wasn't considered a drop, just a great defensive play, but a play he could have made.

But the Andrews TD drop counts against his stat line. That sucks man Jackson played well enough today to win but his guys let him down. I’m especially disappointed in Andrews who is usually clutch. Hope it doesn’t get to his head

I have no reason to believe that it will get in his head.

see above - This Line and group of blockers is turning into a nasty, dedicated, mauling ...... This is pure will and soul on their part.
