Nah

He'll come around though
I’ll come around if he goddamn plays well. Or if wink schemes like a dream with him and makes him like ZDS on mega roids, which I think is the best case scenario for him, because he is not gonna be a regular edge rusher and be productive in the nfl, he’s gonna need to be dialed up

this prediction was a days off
I had zero doubt in my mind we would draft Ferguson, I actually had a slight worry we would want him with our first. After we didn’t do that, I really thought we were gonna trade up for him. I thought it was obvious that we coveted him something serious

Yep, DeCosta said hat much in a post draft conf. If we had a 2nd round pick, he'd have took him there.

Kinda my point lol. I was excited about Stanley but shocked because I just knew it would be tunsil or Buckner, so I wasn’t like excited excited.

I’m just a miserable dick in general so I’m gonna bitch about all of it
@JoeyFlex5's brain right after the Ravens pick:

my feelings on trading 2 sixes to move up for boykin were not an overreaction... think of who we couldve left that sixth round with, and think of who we ended up leaving with...

thats only ok if boykin turns out to be a stud and the entire sixth round becomes nothing... this was honestly the most loaded sixth round ive ever seen
Yeah. I'm a little put off by the argument that says,' Well, who would have gotten...it's only the sixth round..." If we are sitting with three sixth round picks and you want Galliard, for example, he was there for the taking with only a slight move.
If Boykin is a stud then it clearly works but if he's a special teams guy only and can't get involved in the passing game as a rookie, I really question why you wouldn't sit and hope for to him to fall to you. Butler was on the board along with Boykin and Ridley.

It's clear they really wanted him or they specifically targeted his type of receiver so I'll be glad to say I was wrong when it works.

it may also have been a case of not needing 10 picks this year and the ravens realising they could package those picks into a move for a player they really liked - they evidently werent as into gaillard as we were else they would have taken him earlier - 8 draft picks is still a fairly large haul

I'm just throwing Galliard out as example of an available guy. It's true they might not have wanted him.

I think the truth is the Ravens didn't really see enough talent to go and draft a ton of dudes so they went and got someone they really wanted and avoided taking a chance on missing out on the guy for a couple 6th round picks. I think that's ultimately what it boils down to being the deciding factor. I loved Gaillard and would've loved him here, but the team didn't like him enough to get him and I'm OK with that. I think we went into this with a plan and executed our plan and that was it. It would've been great to get another OL, maybe make a move up from our 4th rounders but I think we were happy with how the draft went that we were complacent with our moves.

Part 3: The Draft

yo what the FUCK? trent dilfer aint got no goddamn business announcing for the bucs.

also i cant understand what the fucks happening with greedy. at this rate erics gonna trade up for him lol

SON OF A FUCKING MOTHERLESS TWAT

then maybe they should stop drafting like assholes and make a sensible pick for the OL lol.

lol WHAAAAAAAT THE FUUUUUUUCK

maybe they think hes the same player as hill? seems a plausible angle

jerry you shitbag

i dont like this feeling about the steelers pick... im kinda expecting something i would really hate...

@Edgar im leaving... dunno where im going but im fucking going there

all i know is somebody better fucking pick jaylon ferguson because im certain we take him at 85, and ill be damned if i sat here waiting on THAT bullshit.

and god dammit there goes my RB1

bro im still so fucking mad about the steelers taking diontae johnson...
giphy.gif

ok fuck this fucking draft. fuck you patriots. seriously? why do you have to be such dicks all the goddamn time? god dammit eric why werent you ringing phones off the hook 10 picks ago to move up for winovich? it wouldve taken next to nothing to move up at this point... im really pissed now, 2 most hated teams get 2 of my absolute favorite pound the table players.

GOD DAMMIT RIGHT UNDER OUR FUCKING NOSES

its gonna be ferguson, i know it
NeglectedDisastrousCaimanlizard-size_restricted.gif

god fucking dammit...

when are we gonna draft an edge rusher that is ready to go... correa, bowser, and ferguson, all projects and 2 of them with a very low chance of panning out. jaylon ferguson is a stiff piece of garbage, he cant rush the passer in the NFL, hes a poor mans zadarius smith

oh shit we traded up! i know who theyre targeting... i think

jesus christ decosta you are not fucking doing good

seriously how the hell are WE STILL IGNORING THE OLINE WE ARE A RUN FIRST TEAM WITH A TRASH C/LG THAT COMPLETELY TANKS GAMES

the marquise brown pick had grown on me a good bit by the end of the night... im getting more disappointed by these picks the more i think about them...

im sorry im being so damn negative, but if this turns out to be a good day 2 ill begin to really question whether or not i have a goddamn clue.

oooooooh one highlight reel play from an ocean of average film...

guess ill change my mind

someone make the welcome thread, before i make a "welcome to baltimore, assholes" thread

AND SEATTLE TAKES THE BEST FUCKING GUARD LEFT ON THE BOARD ONE PICK AFTER WE REACH ON A SIXTH ROUNDER FUCK THIS

iman marshall? oh yeah, eric decosta can fuck off. what a shit draft this has been. this shit lined up perfectly for us and we blew it left and right.

Oh god no. No. Absolutely not.

Daylon Mack
Daniel wise
Gerald Willis

Love that pick.

Same. I thought either DT or edge, and I was thinking it was between Mack, Willis, Walker, and Jackson

no, gtfo. hes not welcome here.

i dont mean to keep harping but... im really pumped we just got daylon mack in the fifth... i had a 3rd round grade on him, if you havent watched him, here ya go... he is so explosive off the snap, and so disruptive.

this is the kinda pick that makes me revisit the ferguson pick and reevaluate it. pierce, mack, and ferguson is a wrecking crew of physicality and jump off the snap.

Trace mcsorley? Are you fucking kidding me? Jesus Christ

There is a shitload of quality left on the board and we took trace fucking mcsorley, the SOLE REASON that penn state couldn’t go anywhere in the playoffs with one of the most stacked teams in the nation and generational RB.

I can not understand this shit at all, there was loads of talent still available
